The star of the meal was definitely the grilled prawns which had a nice smoky charred flavour. Super satisfying to get your hands dirty and peel the prawn out of its shell. You could tell it’s fresh and also has a slight sweet taste to it. The broth was also flavourful and was no doubt the result of boiling the prawn shells for hours.
The noodles were quite forgettable. I recommend eating it from the spoon so you could get more flavour by including the soup. Slurping it has a much lower ROI in terms of flavour. The chicken meat was kind of meh and quite tasteless.
In terms of appetiser, the cold tofu was fantastic with the fried shallots that I can’t get enough of.
Great portions and higher quality ingredients than your usual coffee shop western food. Just that the fries although freshly fried, were a bit greasy. And the mushroom sauce was a little bland and watery. $6.50.
Ordered at 4.38pm and got my order at 4.47pm. Took kinda long even though it was during non peak hours.
The chicken patty was freshly fried and very satisfying to bite into except it was scalding hot if you don't wait for it to cool down. Loved the soft bun and the patty nonetheless.
Reminds me of the zinger burger but a fresher version. Also liked that they gave plenty of vegetables
Paid $7.50 for this plate.
Really great tasting roast meats.
Wish they could have given me more than 2 pieces of char siew, 3 pieces of roast pork and 4 pieces of chicken.
Also I would skip the chicken the next time.

My favourite Taiwanese food stall in Singapore has moved to a more convenient location! This is their braided pork rice set ($8 nett)
Quality is better than your standard Yoshinoya beef bowl. Portion is decent too.
Not a bad deal using Burpple Beyond. Works out to be $8 per person after service charge and GST.
