Frankly, this holiday cake is undeserving of a spot at your Christmas dinner. The Swiss roll is dry and crumbly - could hardly tell it’s vanilla flavoured. The coat, supposedly of dark chocolate, is lacking the density of a good chocolate ganache. For $5.90 per slice, I would recommend you to go for other signature CBTL cakes, though non-seasonal.

This dish came sizzling for a few minutes. True to its name, it’s really fluffy while still hot. A must-have side order. For $5.90, the portion is enormous, recommended to share between three persons or more.

Comfort food for the cold weather. I was not served oxtail (was not informed either), however I had a generous helping of beef slices. The soup is mild but tasty. A very filling meal for $7.90.
