Nice and flavorful gelato. Very soft once it goes into your mouth. Try its coconut and Kahlua coffee flavours.

A good place to hang out in a group. We order sepherd's pie, poached egg, sunny side egg, chilli crab pie, and pumpkin waffle

It's probably my third or fourth visit here but it's my first time having the waffles. The waffles was a letdown though, I had much nicer ones. For $10.80 with a scoop of ice cream, wasn't really worth the price. However, the saving grace is the ice cream. I LOVE their earl grey tea ice cream. Hehehe. I'll come back for only the ice cream :)

Gelato concept Churn Creamery opens its doors a few steps away from the Japanese food haven that is Orchid Hotel, offering a wide variety of gelato options. Try the alcoholic Milo Baileys, the luscious Banana Nutella or the mousse-like Pineapple Sorbet on their waffle (from $8.80 with two scoops of gelato). Interesting fact: if you order your gelato on a cone, the staff would pour liquid Barry Callebaut chocolate (that's apparently pretty fancy chocolate, FYI) from their very own chocolate tap (!!) into the cone itself, which would then cascade down your throat like a thick waterfall upon your last bites. YES, PLEASE!

It looks better than it taste. We found it to cheesy but the waffle is nice.

The 'foie gras', 'sausage' etc are all desserts! Very creative.

As plain as it looked, it seemed to taste as though most of the ingredients were missing. Perhaps calling it Gula Melaka would be slightly better for it was the dominant flavour in the gelato, with a rich dairy-like creaminess within though with a few ice bits around.
