The dish contains Signature Scrambled Eggs, Melted Cheddar, Crispy Bacon Strips, Sweet & Savory Maple Aioli cuddled by their brioche buns. With all the things I love inside, it was really a meal I enjoyed, albeit a slightly high price tag. .

Now, let’s focus on one of the stalls, which labels itself as Ho Say Mee Pok. Hosay is a Hokkien explanation expressing joy, or ecstatic enjoyment. @hosaymee is a humble little stall that provides really unique mee pok. With the traditional ingredients such as the generous pork lards, the chilli which had a spicy kick, I appreciate the unique blend of prawns, meat dumpling, and scallops. 😋🍜 You can really say… this mee pok HO SAY! 👍🏽

This is their seal bread, which is so adorable, I felt guilty having to eat it. The seal bread is filled with chocolate filling, and is not too sweet as well. I think now given how health-conscious people have become, having chocolate that is not too sweet is a win. The only drawback is the lack of filling, as there is more bread than I would have savoured.

Also, pairing with their cheese tart. For $3, the cheese tart, which I previously tried at their Bukit Timah branch, was small, tasty and nice.

Had these at their Queen Street branch, and was pleasantly greeted “Happy Birthday” when I went last week (paid through @favesg so suspect they could see when my birthday was.

Have been here a couple of times but yesterday was my first time trying the Ceremonial Kaze Matcha, priced at $8.80. The freshly brewed Kaze does not disappoint, and the crockery used for this makes for a grand drink. The kaze has a refreshing taste, and has the right balance of matcha, retaining umami notes and not being too strong.

Also had the Earl Grey Cheesecake. Unfortunately, this cake was not as satisfactory in taste unlike their Sweet Potato or Sesame cakes. The earl grey felt really jelly-like, which does not do justice to the crunchy bits at the bottom.

At the @100ammall store, there is a small dine-in corner where patrons who wish to dine-in are welcome to sit down and chill. While this is definitely smaller than their 111 Somerset and Midview CIty Char Chan Teng concepts, I definitely enjoy having dined here with the comfort of some Western-style Cappucino or Long Black, depending.

Photographed here as the pastry is their cheese tart, generously priced at $2.50 per tart. The cheese centre is really nice and warm, so much so that it just melts in your mouth as you take that first bite.

So Good is also well-known for their bo lo buns and egg tarts, which are worth a try as well. 😋

@kopiandtarts are very creative with their egg tarts. Most places only have the regular egg tart. Kopi & Tarts does way more, especially by including sweet potato, pandan taro, apple crumble, and cheese.
I love the cheese egg tart but the nacho cheese egg tart is even nicer! 😋 Kopi & Tarts has quite a couple of halal-certified branches as well.

Who can resist their Hanjuku Cheese Tarts? 😋🥰 Priced at S$3.50, which is pretty reasonable given the taste it provides, rich in premium cheese. Hope that Lavender will be able to set up a few more stores around our little red dot! .

The pork belly was simply fabulous. The way the juices sinks into your mouth is so so good. So cherish the burger’s tastes. Usually their waiting time is almost an hour, and they open 4 days only (Wednesdays to Saturdays). I highly recommend anyone visiting Beauty World to try their pork belly burgers and fries , which complement each other well. The juicy pork belly patty is simply divine!

I’ve tried their pulled pork burger before but it was not fantastic at the time (2014/2015). Hopefully the recipe has improved.

Hambaobao has gone through two to three breaks, one involving the almost-sale to a business aiming to convert the food court to an air-conditioned one (thank goodness that did not happen) in early 2017. The other was in 2018, where they closed for maternity leave because of little bao (aww 👶)… Now competing with hammee’s at Commonwealth Crescent, may the battle for hawker centre burgers continue! .

Photographed here is their signature Camaca SG Limited, a Singapore creation recommended by them to first-timers. With an espresso blend and with more nutty and sweet aftertastes. I enjoyed this coffee, black, as it was just one that gives me a strong but not bitter aftertaste.

The strawberry cheesecake was not to sweet, but indulgent enough and had a slight spicy-like sting to it.

With fancy decór, cutlery and crockery, you’d expect this to be in the price range of places within the CBD, but I find the prices reasonable for an area near the famous District 21, known for expensive landed properties and apartments. I’ve tried their gelato as well, and the next post will be up soon! .

The rice provided was generous. The soup however was very salty.

Located near the main Chai Wan Road, a road that connects to Shau Kei Wan as well as Siu Sai Wan Island resort, this eatery is convenient to ride the bus services that ply this area.

This is also one of those typical small eateries where locals eat, and go when they're done. For me, it was an interesting experience given my lack of Cantonese proficiency but I got by, and they were friendly. .
