Took a spoonful of this amazing dish and am super delighted with it. Creamy, milky and hearty tea break snack all rolled up on one dish, served to warm anyone’s heart. A nostalgic aroma fills my heart as it reminds me of the wholesome milk filled baby foods. With each spoonful, you get the smooth cream with crunchy nuts and dates. A great tea break for sure.

I had this for my starter at Botanico. Lovely mix of comfort food that I was seeking that weekend. Fried potato cubes that were nice to the bite, without being too oily. Garnished with tiny mini cubes of duck meat, that complimented the seasoning of the fries. Topped with a Sunny Side up, a great way to start the meal for people who enjoy their carbo.

The homemade mushroom soup here is divine. The rich flavour and the smooth consistency makes it a great starter to any meal. You have bits of fresh mushrooms in each spoonful, together with the goodness of other ingredients that compliment it. I almost always season my soups but this one, it was perfect for my palate.

This was like heaven in my mouth. I loved the fact that it brought me back to my teens. It was aromatic and sweet, yet so sexy to look at. The multi layers of crepés were so light and airy. The flan with flakes of tiny reddish pink buds, added just a burst of freshness. All in all a dessert that will keep me coming back for more.

A rich chocolate ganache on the cake makes it the perfect chocolate cake to have on cheat days. The cake itself is light and moist. The presentation of it is simply adorable and is self explanatory of it’s name.

This is just an amazing alternative to potato fries. So glad to have this option. These fries are truly amazing, bringing together the sweetness of the chip and the spiciness of the marinate, all merging together with the tangy dip. A definite must have the next time I return.

The syrup was rather too sweet for my liking but the toast were lovely with a dash of cinnamon on them. Great for kids to have for breakfast or snack.
