Take a huge wedge of butter, slather with creamy and cold kaya, then fold the toast and don't be shy about biting right it! The way he did it, the butter and kaya stayed put within the toast. Interestingly, this was served to us as dessert.

And then we just moved on to others and these days, we're less likely to be eating "ang-moh" brunches, preferring some solid $4 nasi lemak or prata or bee hoon, or just about any local carb overload brekkie.
But on a whim we decided to dine at Marmalade Pantry at Oasia hotel in Novena, it was near us and we had the Entertainer 1 for 1 voucher. This was a Proscuitto-wrapped Halibut. Fish was lovely and so was that saffron foam that came along with it.

And a pleasant surprise to find out that they have daily Happy Hours of 1 for 1 from 3pm-9pm on selected beers, wines, housepours.
Just don't bother with the sauvignon blanc though!
