The featherblade steak. $21++. The featherblade or flat iron cut is a cheaper cut compared to the usual prime cuts. There isn’t much fat in this cut so don’t expect tenderness. But expect flavour. Was it a flavourful steak? Yes this cut does provides a good strong beef flavour but definitely Not as much flavour as the picanha cut of a cow which is also a cheap and very fantastic cut. The steak however could have been charred more. And being a flat iron cut, I honestly do believe the price could be much cheaper if their direction is about affordable steaks esp with the cut of meat that they are using but really Appreciate the fact too that they are using non prime parts to also educate people that there are more parts to a steak than just the usual.

Yes it’s an almost 14 dollars plate of nasi lemak but is it worth it? I would say it is! Really tender and crispy flavourful chicken fried with their rempah. Great Great sambal with a kick. And the rice is fragrant and lemak. For the portion and quality, I would say 12.80(excluding gst and service charge) is very worth it. I don’t believe that food that is cheaper usually(eg nasi lemak) should be flamed when charged at a higher price. It’s so justifiable due to quality of ingredients as well as location rent. Cheap or expensive, there are a lot of factors and as Long it’s justified, we should support it wholeheartedly.

Walked past this well known prata shop and decided to give it a go. I ordered one Kosong one egg. The classic. And I would say they do really delicious prata. It’s hard to find prata with a good balance of crispy and doughy taste and they nailed that aspect with their skills. Prata was beautifully made and cooked. I still prefer the prata at Hougang (al falah) in terms of taste and texture of the dough. But in terms of prata finesse and quality of curry. Mr and Mrs mohgan does a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend to everyone to support this lovely couple.

Been a fan of Fei Fei for the longest time. What’s there not to like. Flavourful and Al Dante noodles that are so springy. Sweet and caramelised fatty charsiew and great roasted duck. Their chilli is good as well. The only downside is to be prepared to que. go during off peak hours maybe 1030-1130 for a much shorter que :)

Absolutely rich and smooth seafood pudding with squid ink topped with delicate Uni. Superbly well executed dish by Lolla. I would recommend that you apply it like butter on fresh sourdough. So good!

Apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Beautiful to look at and delicious as well! The charred caramelised bits of the apples are the best bit :)

Really good popiah. Besides all the regular popiah ingredients, unique crunchy dried rice is added for the texture and their Belachan for their popiah is very delicious as well. It’s not exactly the cheapest popiah you can get but it’s definitely very delicious.

Nothing not to love about this starter dish at Lino’s. Grilled crunchy and juicy fresh asparagus. Full
of umami Parma ham and grated Parmesan. Drizzled with brown butter and salt and pepper. Simple but yet so so delicious!

Barley risotto with fried Wild mushrooms and shaved parmesan. Another great dish at Lino’s. Absolutely brilliant to substitute the rice with barley for a different bite and texture. Love the richness of the dish. Crispy mushrooms to balance out the texture of the chewy rich creamy barley is very smartly executed

Probably the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Linos burrata pizza magic lies not only in the quality of ingredients but the amazing airy and crispy crust that is very very unique. The milky richness of the burrata together with the tomato base and fragrant pesto never fails in all the times I’ve been to this restaurant. Always love the moment when the burrata cheese is sliced open.
