Came here under Burpple Beyond. We ordered the seafood platter and peri-peri chicken.
Initially tried to make a reservation but there was no confirmation, so we walked in instead. Our party of 4 was shown to a tiny table, which could not even fit the 2 platters that we ordered. Most of the time we were juggling the other things on the table (had to put the cutlery container and flowers on another chair because there was just no room). Only then did the staff re-seat us to another table (after much hesitation, even though there were plenty of other tables available and not reserved)
We wanted to order the pork ribs ($32) which were apparently OOS, and when we wanted to opt for the Peri Peri Chicken ($26) instead, the waiter tried to persuade us to get the Cordon Bleu Chicken ($22).
The food itself was very average. The seafood platter was oily as everything is fried and not fresh. Peri peri chicken was extremely spicy and overcooked.
At the end of the meal we were charged $12 for 6 cups of tap water (we asked for 3 cups of water and one round of refills - making each ~300ml cup of TAP water... $2) but we were not told at any point in time that water was chargeable (they eventually waived it).
Perhaps we should have heeded the waiter's words and gotten the Cordon Bleu, then maybe both the service and the food might have been better.
Definitely not coming back.
Aaaa already dreaming of the baked eggs
Totally forgot about the "album" feature

I can come back a million times just for the salmon. This place is newly opened, and the food is REALLY GOOD. The chef obviously has a passion for his food. He plates each dish meticulously and explains it to us.
Bae got the beef and I got salmon. Salmon was SO SUCCULENT AND FRESH omg very lightly cooked and then charred on the outside
Even the homemade lavender ice cream and honey panna cotta was 10/10.
Super worth it for 16.50 (opening promo until 23 April)
A little unexpected of an ice cream place, but they do REALLY good brunch! The pancakes are soft and fluffy, and the proteins are well cooked and seasoned
I always, always go back to this. Should probably try something new, but why argue with perfection? ๐
Back when I ate red meat, the beef bowl was amazing ๐ pretty much self-saucing with the poached egg
Now I go for the salmon which is JUST AS GOOD
My Go-to post-workout as it never disappoints
One of my favourite locations because it's cost and secluded. The first time I went, the ricotta hotcakes was quite dry and nothing special.. Special mention goes to the squid ink pasta though, that one is really good
Everything was fantastic - salmon bowl was my fave
One of the best bingsus I've had. My personal favourite is the strawberry one - the strawberries tasted super fresh and sweet ๐ looking forward to my next visit
Haha I love k cook! My go-to Korean bbq for sure because it's affordable and has a good selection of meat ๐
