The prawns in the hargao was huge too! The skin to meat ratio was just right and they stuffed one huge prawn in each of their hargao. Definitely order this when you are here!!

Went on a sunday lunch timeslot 12pm onwards. It was quite crowded with many people waiting outside the restaurant. It has been a few years since I last had their buffet spread. Saw that they are doing a 50% promotion off the total bill by paying the selected debit cards (OCBC/POSB, etc).

Honestly, it was definitely not worth it paying for the full price with not much variety of the food that they offered. I will give it 2/5 even though I am paying for half the price because the food & spread was very mediocre. I remembered they used to have a prata station where the chef cooked it on the spot per order but I guess not anymore.

The only food that you may get your price (which are protein) worth it were the oysters, raw salmon, clams, prawns, crabs, mutton, chicken and fish. The chicken satay was alright but the beef’s version was bad.

In terms of carbs, got your usual laksa, rojak, fried noodles, fried rice, roasted potatoes, cheesy minced meat, kang kong, broccoli, and some cold appetisers like jellyfish. The sushi was pretty meh as it is just your standard assorted sushi which you can get it at your local sushi store.

They got variations of your kuehs, icecream and pastries which I am not really a fan of (cause it’s too sweet). If you have a sweet tooth, this section is for you. Had their chocolate icecream which you need to scoop it on your own. It was rich and tasted good. The other flavours were strawberry and vanilla.

Wanted to get their fruits but it ran out, so managed to get only their pineapples which were disappointing.

A plus point will be that the servers are actively clearing your plates whenever you are off to get your food.

Honestly, I don’t think I will be back for the buffet as there are definitely better options elsewhere to get your money worth.

The restaurant needs to work on diligently topping up of food as it is a buffet spread and most of the food are close to empty whenever I (and the rest) wants to take a serving plate of it.

The siewmai is the bomb! It was fantastic! The meat quality and the juiciness from it just explode in your mouth. They were very generous with the filling and the quality of was top-notch. I ordered 12 pieces of siewmai in total as they were just damn good 👍🏻 I can safely say that these are not your typical coffee-shop, food-court standards dimsums as you can definitely taste the different. Definitely order this when you are here.

Visited on a public holiday and it was super crowded with snaking long queue at 3.43pm.

Most of their brownies selection are available but some of their popular ones are running out. (Depends on the day itself too)

Bought the [PB] Peanut Butter & Himalayan Pink Salt ($6.50), MLW - Signature Molten Lava Dark Choc, Walnut & Sea Salt ($8.10) and [70] 70% Fleur de Cao Dark Chocolate & Sea Salt ($7.10)

The PB flavour was super rich & thick which it can be very gelat/heavy after a few bites (with the loads amount of salt). The chocolate has a good amount of sweetness and bitterness, so it is good if you prefer a rich dark flavour profile with PB. I feel that this is too much to finish for one person and meant to be share instead.

I felt that the MLW was overly sweet and the salt is too much in this. I couldn’t finish this on my own as I need to spam water to compensate the sweetness of the chocolate. This is a must buy option if you have a very very sweet tooth.

The 70% flavour is just nice for me. Not too sweet and has a slight bitterness to it. It is not overpowering with loads of sweetness/saltiness. This is the type of brownie that I could finish on it’s own. If you like a balance profile flavour of brownie, this is the flavour to go for.

Overall, the brownies are good and matches the price point and quality for each one of them. It can be slightly overpriced & overated but it is good to indulge in this once in awhile. I will probably go for this again if I happen to be there and craving for it. (And maybe short queue)

Booked reservation on a public holiday dinner time.

Placed is not fully packed but decent amount of people.

We ordered the AU Ribeye 200g Chargrilled medium rare with baked potato and chopped green salad and NZ Striploin 250g Steakhouse Chargrilled medium rare with parmesan asparagus and cream parmesan spinach. Both of the dishes arrived around 25-30 minutes.

The cut was cooked to perfection with the juiciness of the meat still intact and the marbling is visibly clear. The meat is not too tough and decently tender. Although the fat of the meat can be tough to chew as it requires 10-15 times.
I like the asparagus as it is crunchy and the seasoning of the flavour is just right. The cream spinach was slightly off and wasn’t to my liking. I will probably skip that next time.

The ribeye was juicy and decent amount of fat to meat ratio. The potato could be softer as it is quite hard. The salad is not bad, refreshing and light. It comes nicely together with the sauce.

Overall, it is value for money whenever you want to get your steak fix as you are paying for a decent steak with an affordable price point.

Will definitely revisit again 😊

P.S one of the waiter recorded one of the side dish wrongly and I immediately sound out to them. They were quick to react to ensure that they do not cook the wrong cut of steak (which in this case it is not). Good job in terms of their service.

-1 for baked potato (hard) and cream spinach (not to personal preference)

Look at the ooze of the peanut crumbs!!! 😍 they are so generous with the filling and omg.. THAT FIRST BITE WAS HEAVEN. Combination of salty, sweet and savoury!!!

Definitely coming back next time to try their other flavours.. and get their peanut again hehehe.

And above all that, it costs $1.50 only.. value for price, quality and taste!

The XLB was their signature dish and honestly, it was quite underwhelming. The meat-to-soup filling was good and definitely handmade. But, it was nothing extraordinary.
