Korean hotteok croffle - Croffle had a super crunchy crisp exterior with a chewy middle, topped with cinnamon sugar giving warm undertones that complemented the gelato 🍨 - 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙞 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙩𝙚𝙖 (𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙪𝙢 +$1): Appreciated that it’s not very sweet with its characteristic aroma of spices! - 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤: Would prefer to have a stronger nuttiness.

Mochi waffle - Waffle was crispy on the outside with an airy fluffy centre, mochi encased was stretchy and melty! - 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙤 𝙮𝙖𝙢 (𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙪𝙢 +$1): Subtle vanilla-like sweetness with a distinct coconut milkiness, pairing well with the mochi 🍠 - 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙚𝙨: Like a salted caramel base with cookies and cream topping, a blend of buttery caramel flavour and a slight crunch from the toffee bits.

Pu-erh tea - Mild-tasting tea, could have a more prominent pu-erh fragrance.

5 Pieces YTF ($3.5) + Abacus ($3.3) Dependable and delicious: that is what yong tau foo should be. And I'm happy to report that 5 Loaves lives up to my every expectation. They've got a decent variety of fresh vegetables and products stuffed with handmade fish paste, but what really does it for me is the soup - a light, MSG-free broth that is gentle on the palate. Do make room for the sides like the chee cheong fun or abacus, they are sublime. The abacus seeds were not too hard nor too soft, and the rest of the ingredients were added with a controlled precision so it wouldn't become overly cloying.

Yong Tau Foo ($4.30 for Set Meal) Aunty let me try the dry version today. I usually order in soup but the weather was too warm today! She told me it comes with a separate bowl of soup but I didn’t expect the bowl to be so large😅 I’m not complaining though because the soup has no msg and is filled generously with soybeans and spring onions. You can customise your dry order with sweet sauce or chilli sauce. The aunty of the stall is such a dear! She is so very smiley and friendly to all her customers ◡̈

YTF stall with the sweetest aunty My usual order of 6 ingredients in soup for $4.30 (5 ingredients + noodles/ rice for $4.30) and a side dish of tempura enoki and oyster mushrooms courtesy of the aunty of the stall. She’s always so friendly and cheerful ☺️

A Very Filling Lunch Spent $17.70 for 2 pax with the 1for1 deal. For the ladies, u may want to bring another friend along. The portion is big enough for 3 to share. Salt and oil level a bit high but not bad.

Value-for-money Food was 3/5 - nothing to shout about, but portion was a lot for the 1-for-1 price paid (i mean... look at the pic!!!). Spent ~$18. Couldn't finish the food. Milk tea was on the sweet side. Menu variety is quite good.

May look like a very underwhelming store, but they serve up pretty decent quality ramen at cheap prices! The Black Garlic Ramen ($15.80 with a tempura and a drink 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) actually taste pretty great. The soup is aromatic and the noodles are springy. $7.90 per person for the set, I have absolutely no complaints!

Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen & Beef Onsen Egg Curry Udon Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen ($11.80, above) was not bad in terms of the noodles but my dining partner mentioned a bitter taste from the soup which was not fancied. Beef Onsen Egg Curry Udon ($11.60, below) was yummy. I love the thick curry (not spicy at all) which went well with the udon, beef and egg. Wanted to try the Sanuki Beef Egg Udon at first but it was not available. :( Can’t see much from the photo as we have loaded our bowls with lots of crunchy tempura bits, soft wakame and spring onions, which are self-service and FOC. Water is also self-service & FOC. Best part- no GST & service charge so what you see is what you will pay. We paid $13.60 in total (inclusive of drinks not shown here, which was part of the deal) after utilizing BB 1 for 1- extremely worth for yummy and affordable Jap food!!

Pork Udon with Tempura 📍Tamoya Udon, Liang Court📍 💸Pork Udon (Regular) with Tempura ... A super affordable bowl of udon and there is actually burpple 1-1 for their dinner set which includes a main, tempura and drink! This is probably one of our last tamoya at liang court and while we’re sad to see our comfort spot gone, we’re glad that they are now opened at plaza singapura- definitely gonna continue to get our cravings satisfied there!🍤🥟🍤🥟

5 Kind Sashimi(Premium)($98)😋 Luscious, fresh and thick cut. Uni is melty & creamy; Hotate is smooth to the tongue; Toro, Salmon Belly are beautiful, fatty and tender; & Hamachi is bold & buttery.

Value For Money w Burpple Beyond Went in a group of 6 and we all left satisfied. Really loved the Tonkotsu Chasyu Ramen, broth is just right. Isn’t too salty or too bland. They are pretty generous with the Chasyu! Mixed Tempura was great as well. Probably want to avoid the Spicy Garlic Ramen as it was average. Ambience and service: 👍🏻👍🏻 Would definitely visit again (plus points, they’re opened till late which makes a good supper go-to place!) Total bill amounted to $68 which we all felt was worth the price given the quality.

obscure find Tucked into a small mall, the restaurant opens up into a homely space reminiscent of an authentic Japanese eatery. I imagine they must be quite well known for their sushi, but we tried the tonkotsu charshu ramen ($14.90++). I wasn’t fond of the noodles - they had a good bite, but tasted starchy / like yellow noodles. The broth was thick and flavourful without being too salty! The pieces of charshu are rather thin, but they were easily the highlight - glazed in a sweet sauce, the meat is tender and its fat melts in your mouth 🤤

Garlic Udang 20.9+ Delicious. Even though it looks simple, the sauce, the garlic, and the prawns rlly came tgt well. Nothing too exceeding of expectations given what you read on the ingredients list, but executed to perfection almost PS even though each dish seems affordable enough, two of us spent almost 50 per pax (we were stuffed though, probably 1.5 dishes per pax would be nice)

JW360° will cease operations after feb, try their delicious Japanese desserts while you still can! Like most Japanese cheesecakes, the 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐊𝐄 ($𝟔.𝟓𝟎) is light on the palette, but hits you with an occassional nutty punch from the black sesame swirls. What’s most interesting is the crumbly & thick crust - a mix of graham cookies & black sesame seeds, LOVE ✨✨ I also enjoyed the 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄 ($𝟔.𝟖𝟎)!!☕️ 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐀 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄 ($𝟖.𝟖𝟎) is on the sweet side.

Although not the best compared to authentic Japanese crepes found on the streets of Harajuku, this rare find in Singapore was enough to capture my tastebuds! Soft and chewy crepe encasing fluffy whipped cream, topped with Green Tea Gelato, White Chocolate Balls and Red Bean paste, this delicious morsels is a little on the steep side, but no regrets at all!!! 😋♥️♥️ Sadly, @jw360sg is closing down soon, so please give them a try before their last day on 28 Feb 2022! 😥

Yummy & Fluffy The eggs are so fluffy I’m in love with it! I love the Chilli Beef sauce, and the toast are still crunchy even though it was delivered 💯

Pretty Good Very worth it through burpple 1 for 1. Generous fillings and very tasty!

Egg Sandwich #BurppleBeyond 1-1 Chicken Ham and Cheese $4.50 Eggs were fluffy and charcoal bread was soft. The Mayo sauce complements the ingredients well. Staffs were friendly. Very worth it with Beyond, the sandwiches made a good snack!

Masterfully-cooked Meat This place is a vegan's absolute nightmare. The spread here is small but includes 3 main roasted meat selections: chicken, pork, and steak. The cooks personally slice a cut off a big slab of meat when you present your plate to them. The side selections also includes grilled trout, creamy mushroom soup, and roasted garlic and onions. Marvelous and a must go.

Never Regretted Ordering The Trout Great ambience and food whether is it for family dinners or dates! Meats such as steaks, chicken and fish are cooked to perfection! Highly recommended to any meet lovers out there!

Yorkshire Pudding It is definitely starting to feel a lot like Christmas with these airy, light and crisp Yorkshire puddings. So light and airy you don’t feel like you are eating anything until you start drinking.

Mala Madness Pizza ($24) This place has satisfying pizza! We got an assortment of pizzas with very interesting toppings, including this mala pizza. It has quite an authentic mala taste (both numb and spicy) and I’m surprised at how well it was on pizza! The staff are very nice and friendly too :)

Sashimi Pizza [$29++] Mayo base, fresh salmon sashimi, ikura & topped with nori flakes. I enjoyed the succulent sashimi pieces and the roe pieces which were bursting with flavour. The pizza was very flavourful. I loved this!

Bourbon Pulled Pork Pizza [$26++] House special bourbon sauce, topped with slow cooked pulled pork, caramelised onions and basil. This was a very sweet pizza due to the caramelised onions. It’s a relatively safe choice for people who are afraid to venture into new boundaries in terms of taste.
