First time trying Tonkatsu by Ma Maison and ordered their black pork loin. The waiter recommended a different black pig or something, (he said from the forest) and it was not listed on the menu. It cost $34.80++ and I would say it was average and perhaps not worth the price as it didn’t match up to my expectations. Paid in total $41 per pax for this; think I’ll try their Mentaiko next time but not their black pork loin.

I actually missed this bowl of Wanton Mee the minute I finished it and walked out of Hong Lim. The springy noodles, big Wanton with substantial fillings, and tender char siu. 👍🏻

Back again for their matcha latte and it’s so good. Not too jelat and stays well in your mouth. I miss their drinks and toasts already!

The taro flavour surely didn’t disappoint and is a good stop for a quick snack in Arab Street.

Wide variety of healthy food options including soba, edamame, sweet potatoes, guacamole (additional $1). Highly recommended for those who want a quick and healthy option.

They have a wide variety of choices for their lunch set. Would recommend their curry katsu don and tempura set.

The drunkard seafood noodle is a must-try, though have to say it may be spicy for some. Tom yam was awesome but spicy too.

Great springy noodle in tonkatsu broth. Not too jelat and just nice. Big pieces of tender char siu to go with it. Highly recommended!

They have a newly opened small stall at Bedok Mall Basement 2. Tried their cheese version and I liked the heavy egg taste. I prefer this to Le Castella Cake. Cheese version cost $11 while the plain one is $8. They also have chocolate version at $13.

I love the taste of their latte and ambience. Not to mention their service is TOP notch and makes customer feel welcomed. They even let us try their cold brew which was on the house. Highly recommended!
