this meal is definitely a highlight of 2025 for me! heard angels sing with every bite i took, no exaggerations. we started with a sourdough bread with a special fermented butter that gave a unique but delicious after taste, i continued to eat it with my food for the rest of the dinner! a must have is the bite sized truffle toasts. the toast was crispy on the outside, but soft like cotton candy on the inside. the truffle melts in your mouth, a taste unexplainable in words. i had been sent to heaven. the maitake and pork was also out of this world. the soft and tender pork cheek that just melts in your mouth, topped with mushroom and kale, all eaten in one bite , a joy ive never tasted before. the main i ordered was the wagyu pincanha, medium rare. absolutely enjoyed it with the salt on the side and banana shallot. soft and easy to chew, and shockingly filling! we ended off with a dessert of lemon meringue tart, recommend to eat all components in one bite ! the thyme crumb at the bottom was amazing. such a wonderful experience at ingleside! hope to visit again !

really enjoyed my meal! i ordered the duck gnocchi and it was probably one of the best pasta dishes ive had. the gnocchi wasn’t starchy and was so chewy, and the duck meat was so soft and tender. there are also bits of asparagus in there and they were so good and crunchy, especially with the gravy, i couldn’t have enough of it! the mac and cheese was also very good, had amazing cheese pull, perfectly salted and great for sharing. of course, we can’t miss out on truffle fries, super crispy and the amount of it was definitely value for money. looking forward to visiting again !

visited le cheng hainanese chicken rice and it was one of the most fulfilling meals yet! my favourite would be the salted fish egg fried rice, it was so fragrant, and the salted fish taste was just right. second in place would be the sambal kangkong, my friend and i would not stop eating that. the hit of the sambal was strong and every bite of kangkong gave a nice crunch. white pepper chicken clay pot soup is a must have, the warm soup feels so nostalgic and comforting as it goes down your throat, giving u a slight kick of pepper every time. enjoy the soup with some tofu as well, we mixed it in with the soup and it was delicious. another must have is their signature kampung chicken, one of the best, most fragrant, chicken rice ive ever had, it’s not too salty either and the skin is so silky! enjoyed the meal with a jug of iced barley water. thank you to the kind staff for their service as well and i would recommend all to give this place a try!

visited hong kong cha kee and it exceeded my expectations! my favourites were the soup of the day, sweet and sour pork, and french toast. the soup of the day was pork, carrot and radish soup, perfectly seasoned, the pork is soft and melts in your mouth, and the carrots and radish were also well cooked. the sweet and sour pork was perfectly crispy on the outside and mixed with the right amount of onions and sweetness for a tangy taste. lastly, the peanut butter french toast was very soft and fluffy, even better with the maple syrup. overall, service was great and staff were all very friendly and kind! my friend and i had the set 2 and it was worth the price and very filling
