Bad Service, Okay Food When we needed to check for status of the food or request for more sauce, the service staff were nowhere to be found. could only get hold of them when they were serving the food. when we asked about the status of the food and whether food is ready, the reply was demeaning! exact words were ‘ wait la food is cooking’. yes there is nothing wrong with the meaning but the tone and body language are louder than any words.
during payment, when we asked if we could use burple voucher & if we could stack 4 deals (as per the t&c) stated in the deal, staff said yes.
however when we tried stacking the vouchers and redeemed 1 of the voucher, staff suddenly mentioned no stacking. T&C clearly stated that vouchers could be stacked and she stated it could be stacked. when we showed her the t&cs she called her boss to check and her boss have the greenlight to proceed.
when we redeemed the vouchers (deducted in Burpple btw), the discount (25% off total bill) added up to $0.69. the total bill was 385, and 25% off was $0.69?
there’s something wrong with the POS and staff mentioned that there is no stacking of the vouchers. Staff offered to write to Burple to refund us our dining voucher for 25% off the total bill if we take the 30% off Pasta and 1-for-1 Appetiser. We insisted that we want to use the 25% bill, but staff said they could not do that as they need to void the entire bill.
That’s just excuses as they did not want us to use the voucher with higher discounts. after insisting to use the 25% discount, they suddenly mentioned they could void off the previous vouchers and offer the 25% discount. we requested for them to write to burple to offer us the refund of our redeemed vouchers back, they refused to do it.
Picolino does not honor their discounts on Burple. the staff also does not have sufficient knowledge of their restaurant promotions and they have contradicting answers. There’s better restaurants with better services at better price around the area.
