AWESOME Bread Lachcha paratha @ $5 We decided not to go with the usual naans selection and opted for this which based on the description seems like it's normal prata. But it's rly tasty and the texture is good to hold the curries well. If other Indian restaurants offer this too I might forgo naans for it just to try and see if it's something most Indian restaurants cannot go wrong with.

Great Chicken Curry Chicken tikka masala @ $16 When I say curry, I mean sauce. Another good dish that goes extremely well with the bread that we ordered (lachcha paratha). The chicken chunks are also not too dry like how it can be with curries at other places. The taste is slightly stronger than the other curry we ordered (mutter paneer), goes better with bread than on its own. Used 1for1, so it's two curries for $16, super worth it! Will take better photos next time that shows the chicken.

Very Healthy Lunch Got the DIY bowls. What's different about this place is that they make use of Konjac in their rice/noodles etc. So our carbs tasted kinda like jellyish? The sides were alright.

Dashi Risotto 💵: $21 📈: 9.5/10 🤔: 24 hours since I had this and I'm still thinking about it because it was THAT good. -0.5 because it was a tad bit pricey for the small portion, but definitely made affordable with beyond. Fried enoki mushrooms not only added a nice crunch but also great flavour.

Tom Kha Capellini 💵: $19 📈: 7/10 🤔: Would be better if the dish was served hotter, but it might also be because of the capellini's inability to retain heat. The shrimp paste was bouncy and shrimp floss added to the light tom yum flavour, pretty good dish overall!

Not bad, reminiscent of a good laksa bowl! Dry Laksa ($18 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) - though the noodles were abit too soft, the sauce is thick and very flavourful, just like a good bowl of laksa. They gave 4 pretty huge prawns which were all plump and fresh! Not bad can try.

Pretty delicious Mentai Don! Salmon Mentai Don ($18 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) - mentaiko really can't go wrong and for this bowl they were pretty generous with the amount of sauce! As for the salmon pieces, it seems like it's lesser than that of Chirashi. I still love the rice in here! The onsen egg just pairs well with everything in here 😍

Chunky fresh pieces of sashimi, not bad Lecoq Chirashi ($16 1 for 1 with #burpplebeyond) - pretty generous with the sashimi ingredients, the sashimi pieces were fresh and chunky! I must say they gave alot of rice, but I ain't complaining because their rice were well seasoned and pretty darn addictive. Love the onsen egg as well, as it acts as a good medium to combine everything together!

Chicken Bulgogi Carbonara The sauce was creamy but the overall taste was just average. More mushroom than chicken in the pasta.

two hana mac and cheese kimchi bite very jelak. cute! went okayish w the kimchi. yum: 6/10

Truffle Mushroom Pasta ($15) For $15, the pasta came with a side and drink. Though there was an aroma of truffle that wifted through the air while mixing the pasta, the truffle taste was rather elusive. Overall it felt more like a regular mushroom cream pasta dish that was dry and rather jelak.

Somewhere in the middle of Liang Court basement food court. Cold zaru soba and some tempura atop of rice at the side. This is around $13 and the portion is so big! It is so worth it! The seats are Japanese style where it is mostly counter seat and you eat around the cook counter. The cook is Japanese, therefore the way the dish is cooked is really Japanese style. And not sure if it was just us overthinking things but the shape of the tray is very unique and considerate. The flat one is the one that faces that junction between the table and the wall and the curved one is towards us.

Vanilla Cone 5nett (hokkaido Dosanko Plaza) Rather milky, but can get overpowered by the melon if u chose to taste that first

Sapporo Zangi & Zaru Soba [$12.80] Was so tempted to enter Ryoshi Sushi but the relatively big menu of soba dishes here looked good. Went with this set of hot soba (you can also request for cold) along with a side of fried chicken. It was very worth it for its nett price and each order even comes with a cup of hot green tea! Soba was done well and springy, though I’d like it just a teeny bit more firm. While I expected the broth to be much lighter based on looks, it was surprisingly flavourful. Fried chicken chunks were great too, they were crunchy, seasoned nicely and had a clean non-greasy finish!
