🍗: Fried Tender Thighs ($13)
🥞: Chicken & Pancakes ($14)
🥤: Iced Kopi & Iced Teh C ($2.5 each)
💵: $19 for two with burpple beyond
Chicken looks abit dark (like overly fried) when served. But dont let the looks deceive you! This is one of the best seasoned, tender and juiciest tenders that i have tasted! The thigh meat was well marinated, crispy on the outside but extremely juicy and succulent on the inside.
There were 3 pieces of the tenders for Fried Tender Thighs ($13) and 2 pieces of tenders for Chicken & Pancakes (served with 3 pieces of pancakes), which was very filling and affordable even without burpple! With burpple beyond, I’m definitely going to come and deplete all 4 deals!
If not for the location, pretty sure there would be lines of queues for their signature fried chicken. Highly recommended to come and try!
🍤: Ebi Ten Katsudon
💵: $24 (2sets of katsudon, with dasani mineral water, miso soup and one serving of fried chicken skin)
Particularly like their fried ebi. Batter was crispy and light to the palette whilst not feeling overly oily when eating.
Katsudon was generally ok. Their miso soup is flavourful though the soup serving given could have been more.
Recommended to come and try!
Used burpple one for one at Elixir for their breakfast/lunch menu. There were only three mains on the menu that you can use with burpple beyond, and we picked the The Breakfast Works ($27) and Impossible Shakshouka ($22), and topped with a white ($5) and Iced Tea ($6.5).
Food was relatively okay, but not spectacular. Shakshouka was quite a disappointment as there were only four small chunks of impossible meat and serving was a little small. The only thing i prolly really liked was the bread which was soft. Ate better Shakshouka out there.
The Breakfast Works was a hearty platter with a good variety of food (bratwurst, bacon and smoked salmon). Really worth it for its price. Highly recommend to get this when you’re here.
Wouldnt really recommend for the food and pricing, there are better cafes out there with better pricing and better food. With two mains and two drinks, total bill added up to around $45 for two person, including gst and svc, and we used beyond 1for1.
TL;DR: Not a must go, but you can go and try the food if you want.

Ordered Philly Cheesesteak Baguette and Carbonaro pasta (1 for 1 @ $15.90). Both tasted great! Baguette had a nice crisp, wasn't too hard and beef serving was huge. Carbonara sauce was nice, creany enough but not too thick and jelak.
Pretty Good Vietnamese noodles and with burpple it's only $6.50 each!
Chill place and definitely value for money dons, even more with burpple beyond!
We ordered paella, pork cheek, crab bongo stew and prawns. Definitely think it's not worth the high reviews and price. Food was alright but no wow factor. Pork cheek was extremely oily as seen in photo. There was more oil than the mustard sauce itself :( quite disappointed.
Pretty sure this is one of the better korean places in this area! We ordered the beef and pork bbq platter for $55+, which comes with 1. 2 kinds of beef (short rib and something else) 2. 2 kinds of pork 3. Kimchi soup. Meat serving was pretty generous! They mentioned it's for 2-3 pax but pretty sure it can serve a family of 4 (2 male 2 female). Bbq plate also came with kimchi, egg and cheese sauce heated up around the rim. Good!
Pretty good ocean's thirteen which is Smoked Salmon Benedict. Eggs nicely done, smoked salmon tasted good, love the bread! Plus it comes with avocado, beetroot and ebiko which makes a good combination of flavours.
Taste decent but not delicate enough for its original price of $14 each before 1 for 1. Pastries are extremely small, approx size of a small famous amos cookie.
Nice ambience, good service by the staff. Ordered Salmon with Almond Crust. The salmon was fresh, though i felt that the skin was salt marinated to be a tad too salty.
Ordered mentaiko fries to go with the mains, and it was really salty. Had to spam water to wash down the saltiness. We barely ate the fries and was left with like 80% of it. Won’t recommend their fries!
