Ordered the fried rice with lil chic. The chic was not lil at all! Instead the fried rice came with a large piece of chicken cutlet which could be a main dish by itself. Granted, the portion of the fried rice was lesser than the usual portion at your tzechar stall, but the chicken more than made up for it. I also loved that the fried rice had lots of ham and sausages (the nice kind, not the normal hotdog), very tasty indeed!

Awesome find with Burpple Beyond near my place. We love ordering the big breakfast set as there's everything we like inside! For the 1 for 1 mains, do note that breakfast items are not included but hey who says you can eat fish & chips and pork chops for brunch? 😋

Jianghu Hotpot remains the top spot of my hotpot list after so long. Just hit straight for the Elite Buffet and you won't regret it! Recommend the 酸菜鱼 and 猪脚 soup broths!

We had several dishes there and most of them were quite yummy for the prices. One small complaint is that the rosti is way too thin and we were unable to get the crispy rosti top that we liked.

There are not that many tables so do go early to snag a table! We were there at around 10.30 and it was empty but it filled up right after we ordered our food.

Let me start by describing the crispy noodles - super crunchy, fragrant noodles atop a savoury eggy gravy with generous seafood (there are prawns, fish, clams & veggies). The sauce reminds me a little of the fish maw/sharks fin soup that we get at banquets, and you can really taste the seafood broth that is used to simmer the gravy. Yums!

This is really comfort food at its best, both the noodles and the gravy.. and it's totally different from any other shengmian in the market, because, where else can you find any other shengmian with standing noodles???

Definitely coming back for more!!

First things first, the live singing only happens once every night, and the 店长will 自弹自唱 on the guitar, his voice is really nice and so it's not those noisy live bands that are sometimes annoying.

Food wise, I've been here countless times and we always go for the Elite Buffet. Just go for that cos all the more expensive meats and seafood are within that range. If you love 康师傅drinks, they are also free flow if you go for the Elite Buffet. It's really worth it cos the meats are so fresh and yummy. Featuring the newer items: 小笼包＆饺子＆crayfish. The xlb is surprisingly nice and full of broth inside, and it amazingly doesn't break after boiling haha.

Pro tip: peel the crayfish shells and dump them into the soup to cook for awhile to make prawn broth, it's super yummy, can make prawn noodles lol.

For $20, there's nothing much to complain about. You get your basic pork belly, beef, chicken, prawn, squid and veggies. One thing though, the bean paste sauce was wayyy too watery...

Was here for dinner on a quiet Thursday evening. The place was empty and we were actually a little apprehensive. But boy, we were proved so wrong! The food was awesome.

Thanks to #burplebeyond we had 2 sets of mains+side, and we had another breakfast set to share. Loved the beef burger and the smoked duck pasta. Wings were tasty too! Portions were generous but we were so greedy so we ordered too much. The breakfast set with the rosti and smoked salmon was nice too! Gonna come back again for their breakfast!
