Healthier option Assam laksa was pretty good. Spice level and sourness is pretty okay for me.

Penang fried kway teow wasn’t too oily. We topped up for sliced fish cake.

Satay chicken came really thin and slim. Tasted alright but for a quick satay fix, doesn’t have any charred taste to it.

We also ordered a rojak and chendol. Rojak was quite sweet and the fried dough stick was way toooo hard, like it’s over fried/heated.

Food came really fast and that’s one good thing when you’re really hungry.

Great ambience at the marmalade pantry!
Redeemed one-for-one for the mains.
Truffle beef burger (medium doneness) comes with a thick piece of meat patty (200g).
Spicy crabmeat really has a generous portion of CRABMEAT. Although a little too dry as to how I would like it to be.
Enjoyed the sriracha mayo dip too!

Curry is too spicy for me to handle. A small portion comes with one drumstick, 2 small pieces of meat, 1 potato & some beancurd skin. By the look of it, you can tell it’s spicy.

Ordered the fried tofu with some special sauce. Tofu included some mixed ingredients and are soft on the inside, but the sauce was nothing nice.

Best out of the three is the fried eggplant in salty egg sauce & floss. Nicely fried and taste was just nice.

Overall, a bit pricey for some of the items; small items are around $9.90 (e.g., the tofu). Can give their curry a try if you are up for spicy food.

Hokkaido soft serve (ice-cream made with Hokkaido milk) instead of regular vanilla ice-cream was served. It has a milker taste and added more creaminess to the drink.

Definitely worth trying!

This place is affordable for some decent tendon. A set comes with your choice of tendon and noodles (hot/cold soba/udon).

We also tried the chawamushi and edamame. Definitely a good place to dine for a quick, affordable, and authentic tendon meal.

A palm-sized waffle, banana halved and caramelised, two scoops of rich & creamy chocolate ice-cream, topped with strawberries, blueberries, and some granola which added texture and sweetness to the dessert.

Good for sharing after having your mains there!

Generous amount of lobster meat coated in mayonnaise & lettuce stuffed into buttery brioche bun. Good combo set with creamy clam chowder, shoe string fries and coleslaw.

Freshly fried tonkatsu paired with Japanese curry with some potatoes and carrots. Nothing fanciful but a comforting food that will not go wrong.

The gyudon rice was soaked with quite a bit of sauce and a little salty. Vegetables were also dressed with Japanese sesame sauce (which is also salty).

Gyoza was in okonomiyaki style and sauce. An average dish, maybe you can just order the original Gyoza.

A place with a variety of Japanese food to fill your tummy after soaking in the onsen, but otherwise would not travel down just to have their food.

Good combination of sweet and sour (seasonal mango + passionfruit coulis). The soufflé pancakes are as usual, soft and light to eat.

Would like to try out other flavours too!

Disappointed with this order. Fries are way too salty even without the sauce. Dressing feels like some instant pasta sauce and I think they might have forgotten to add the bulgogi minced beef. Will not recommend to order this.

Fried chicken tenders topped with cheddar cheese and covered with bacon dressing. Can get tired of the taste after awhile, so consider sharing in a group.

Akimitsu tendon freshly served with 2 big prawns and 3 karaage coated with spicy tempura sauce & sided with egg mayonnaise tar tar sauce. The miso soup helps to refresh your palate as you eat those fried items.
