Usually when you think of KBBQ its greasy, oily and overall messy. But here? They keep the clean aesthetics of the place but still satisfying ur cravings for a good hearty meal of KBBQ! They stay true to the authentic korean bbq and serve delicious homemade ssamjang and doenjang but with a more elegant and chic aesthetic. Perfect for when you're all dressed up for a date, craving for kbbq, but don't want that oily stench following you around after the meal. They also make sure everything is bitesized and easy to eat so you don't have to worry about things getting messy. Really nice place to visit for a sweet KBBQ date or even a family dinner~
Me and my friend had ordered the pork set which includes soft egg, soybean paste soup and all the complimentary sides which are all refillable. We requested for them to cook the meat for us and they did it with so much grace. It was a beautiful experience dining here. The meat was delicious and I must mention the soybean paste soup that came with the set was amazing!

The soup was concentrated but doesn't feel too thick and is very palatable. They are also very generous with the ingredients in the soup and full of flavour.

Plenty of the sauces are homemade as well like their ssamjang, salad sauce and kimchi.

They had some very interesting choices from their menu and even though the pork set would have been plentiful enough, my and my friend decided to try their bibim mandu and potato cheese jeon.

I especially loved how creative the bibim mandu is! It is literally a bowl just like bibimbap but the rice is changed into ricecake and the intention is to eat all the ingredients together like you would with bibimbap. It felt like eating a wholesome bite of bibimbap in one mouth. The chewy texture of the ricecake really adds to the dish and i'd recommend everyone to give it a try! πŸ˜‹

The potato cheese jeon is also really delicious with every bite full of crispy potato + cheesy goodness + luncheon meat to give you that extra flavour! It was definitely worth the order.

Overall, me and my friend had a great time visiting The House of Chungdam with their elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Food was delicious and mess-free as well. Would definitely visit again with my family next time😊

Zi Char style order, simple staple dishes still just as flavourful! Perfect for a meal after a long day's work and a wonderful place to visit for a late night supper treat!
This is my second time here and I decided to try their porridge this time. As it was already late and i didn't have much of an appetite, porridge seemed like a great choice! And it definitely did not disappoint.
I went with a friend and she chose to order classic dishes like the sweet and sour pork, shrimp paste fried wings and i had to order the brinjal with minced meat and salted fish for her to try πŸ˜‹
Prawn paste chicken was deliciously fragrant, crispy bits on the exterior with a tender interior just how i love it.
Their sweet and sour pork is classic and the brinjal is just as good as i remember.
Can't forget their mega homemade Ice Lemon Tea that i absolutely hyped up the first time! Big shoutout it it again 😁

Wholesome hearty soup to warm the heart! I visited this place with a friend on a rainy day and their chicken soup was absolutely just what we needed!
Fragrant, flavourful and just delicious πŸ˜‹

I highly suggest trying their black chicken soup if you like a nuttier and rich taste to your broth as the lotus root tends to provide that thickness to it.

But if you're into a lighter and still extremely flavourful broth, i highly recommend the white chicken soup with cordyceps πŸ˜‹ they are both very delicious and perfect for a hearty soupy meal ❀️

We may have went a little overboard and tried all their side dishes but it was SOOO worth it!!

My favourites are definitely the tofu and Ngoh Hiang and an absolute MUST to order!!

The tofu has a crispy exterior, melt-in-your-mouth interior and in the perfect bite-size to enjoy a full bite! It's also not just ur typical tofu as it has some vege to amp up the flavours and add a little bit of their sauce on the side? That additional bit of tang to help you never get sick of it 🀀

The Ngoh Hiang is wrapped FULL to the brim and perfectly fried. It has a crispy exterior with a soulful interior, dip it in the sweet sauce and BOOM burst of flavour πŸ˜‹

Special mention to the fried egg with cai poh too! Bit of salty + bit of sweet and the nice chewy texture is just πŸ‘Œ They were also extremely generous with the cai poh servings to make sure you get an even taste of everything.

We ordered so much we couldn't finish but they helped us pack everything nicely so we could enjoy it all after as well πŸ˜‹ (Even my mum loved it!) Will definitely come back again for more next time!

It's definitely not as convenient when it's raining but if you have a car or don't mind travelling for good food, I 100% recommend trying their food yourselves!

Also, loved their homemade drinks and complimentary ice cream after the meal. Was so extremely satisfied πŸ˜‹πŸ‘Œ

Went to Gardens by the Bay the other day and I never knew there was a photoworthy cafe hidden in the corner 😳
They served a very generous portion of fish and chips and had a very unique and special local twist to their cocktails!! I had the heirloom which kinda reminded me of orh nee while my friend ordered the garden city sling which seemed to represent the flower dome and gardens by the bay 😍 Very IG-worthy!
The rice is pretty standard compared to other cafes but for it to be priced the same even though it's in a tourist hotspot spot?! I'd say that's pretty affordable and worth the value πŸ˜‹
If ur thinking of getting a drink near Gardens by the bay, why not try Hopscotch for ur next visit? πŸ€—

Visited Ingleside a few weeks back and they definitely deserve a shoutout!

Looking for a place that's fancy enough for a big celebration but still casual enough for a nice date? Welcoming Service, Creative dishes and Modern European Cuisine but still palatable for Singaporean palate?
This may just be the place your looking for!

I had a great lunchtime with a friend here to celebrate a big milestone and the ambience was perfect for the occasion 😊 A little more special than usual with a blend of cozy and casual. It was a wonderful experience dining at Ingleside with their fascinatingly curated creative dishes as well! (Loved the heirloom tomatoes - highly recommend for people who like a more acidic dish!) Highly recommend a visit.

This place has a very cozy atmosphere. The service was amazing as well and it was the perfect place for me and my friend to catch up on life! I highly recommend this place if you just want to chill and enjoy a nice meal together~
The meal portion itself was really big too. Worth the visit!

The overall experience I had in Gunther's was wonderful! The elegant ambience decorated with some christmas elements made the entire space cozy and warm. The chef's curated menu was also delicious.

The staff was also extremely attentive, taking into account that I am mildly allergic to most crustaceans not including prawn, I was served other delicious menu they had to offer.

My favourite one being their French grilled Foie Gras with mild spicy citrus dressing. I don't usually like foie gras due to its pungent flavour but the overall texture, taste and fragrance of this dish complemented each other perfectly and with every bite, the foie gras melted so satisfyingly in my mouth. I would highly recommend it!

Everything was so flavourful and delicious. Typical zi char pricing but in an air-conditioned space!! I thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and I highly recommend their mega homemade ice lemon tea to pair with all their savoury delights!! Definitely coming back again in the future to try more of their food πŸ˜‹πŸ˜
