Thai tea crepe At $8, the OG from Two Bake Boys doesn’t come cheap. Taste and flavour wise, given it’s a recipe from the owner, a Thai, it’s in a way, guaranteed good! The mille Thai tea crepe came served with a pouch of Thai tea drizzle, enhancing the tea-liciousness of the cake. Thanks to Burpple beyond 1-1, this is certainly way more affordable!

Birthday Came to celebrate my birthday and its definitely a good experience. Firstly, the staff is friendly and help prepare the cake when she know we are celebrating in the cafe. Secondly, the ambience is good to chill and chit chat. Lastly, the cakes are delicious. I love that the cake is not so sweet and the portion is good for 1pax. Will come back again :)

very pretty cafe!!! very well decorated cafe & cosy environment but had no one when we reached around 5pm. had their thai milk tea crepe cake & vanilla strawberry crepe cake for a total of $8 after 1 for 1 discount. the crepe cakes were flavoured mildly but the thai milk tea sauce helped to enhance the milk tea flavours so we enjoyed the cakes. it was a distance from bugis mrt station so we're on the fence whether we would purposely go back there again.

Yummy mala It’s the same shop as Chong qing grilled fish. Affordable and yummy mala. Service was good, lady manager was nice. Paid around $13 for this after 30% burpple discount. Worth it!

Cosy corner along Lorong Kilat Patronised c&c thanks to Burpple 1 for 1 beverages. Undeniably the cups are huge but not something I would pay full price for. Pictured above are the hojicha and matcha lattes at approx $8 each at regular price. However, it’s worth considering if you are looking for a place to hang out as it is really peaceful.

Ok, with 1-for-1 Ordered 1-for-1 brunch, Big Breakfast and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Big Breakfast: expected it to be better for the price, the toast was kinda hard to cut, bacon was slightly over fried and hard, the egg mushrooms and sausage were okay Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict: this was good, but sadly they ran out of brioche bread and I had to top up $3 for croissant

Lemon cake was chefs kiss Don’t be deceived by the sweet appearance of the lemon loaf just because it is topped with icing cream and petals. The sourness from the lemon hits you the moment it enters your mouth! Thanks to the fluffiness and the additional step of warming the cake, it melts in your mouth and allows for the flavour to kick in immediately. It was almost like eating cotton candy! Decent Cheese Katsu! Back at @onkei.tonkatsu to try their other tonkatsu variations and was satisfied with their Cheese Rosu-Katsu Set ($19.90)! The pork fillet was quite well fried till golden brown and it was stuffed full of cheese! The meat itself may be a little dry, but it is definitely meaty. The chicken is best paired with the tonkatsu sauce, which was pretty tangy to cut the rich fat flavour from the cheese and meat fillet. They offer free refills of rice, soup and cabbage, and I liked the soup the best due to its rich meaty and umami flavours. This may not be one of the best tonkatsu I've eaten, but it's definitely decent, filling and affordable. A great lunch option for the offices nearby!

Ah Bao Braised Stew 🍲 Ah Bao Braised Stew ($7.80) (7/10) Comes with an assortment of ingredients like rice cake, meat balls, mushroom, quail eggs and more. The serving size is a bit smaller but its still worth it given the variety of ingredients you get. I personally still prefer regular braised pork rice, but stew lovers should try this.
