Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty (maybe with the lack of tourists this Covid-19 period)! Food took quite awhile to be served (20-25 mins) but service was good and servers were very friendly πŸ™‚

The portion was big and the rice was tasty but can get cloying towards the end as it's a little oily. Used entertainer and the bill came up to $38, for these 2 plates + 1 lebanese coffee which was quite a steal! Drinks are pretty expensive ($6++ for milo, $4++ for a can of coke) though.

PS: There's no air conditioned area if that's what you prefer, but always nice to sit outdoors and people watch!

Called beforehand to make a preorder and only had to wait 5-10 mins on a Friday night!!

However perhaps it wasn't a good day for them but the rice was tasteless, the proportion of rice to meat was really off (~80% rice) and while the portion was generous for $12 and could feed 2 very comfortably the food was disappointing!

Great ambience (great music, pretty decor) and location (directly opposite CQ mrt)! Food was average, used entertainer 1-for-1 so was still okay πŸ˜‹

Crabbie pasta was alright, a little bit of shells here and there. Coffee pork chops ($18.50++) were a no - we thought it'd be coffee infused but seems like it was cooked in coffee only and tasted slightly odd. Great place to chill with entertainer discounts, but without it will probably not visit again!

PS: food takes ~20 mins to be served so do plan your schedule accordingly!

Ordered the chicken leg nasi lemak but unfortunately it ran out (went ~8pm on a Friday)! Swapped it for chicken breast instead, chicken was tender but unfortunately a little dry. Loved the sambal and the ikan billies/ peanuts, rice was fragrant but seemed better the last time I had it. Service was πŸ’―, servers were super friendly and they gave us sambal squid on the side seeing that chicken leg (what we ordered) had ran out. Nearer to closing time they even gave out kuehs! Great location, good food (will recommend leg over breast), amazing service, will be back!

🍱 Special Salmon Don
πŸ’° $14 (or $7 with burpple beyond)
⭐️ 3/5

Portion was really generous - many cubes of salmon lightly torched, with an ample amount of rice! However there was wayyyy too much mayo, may be great if you really like mayo but otherwise the mayo overpowers everything else and it gets cloying after awhile. Beer was cheap - $7 nett a pint! Will come back but will probably choose a different dish to try :)

🍴Impossible Burger, Fries & Coleslaw
πŸ’° $14.90++
🌟 3.5/5

First time trying the Impossible Burger and you can't tell the difference between this and regular beef patties! However burger was on the smaller side, and was rather dry. Food took quite awhile to be served (20+ mins) as well.

Warm maple butter was amazing as usual but pancakes were on the drier side! Blueberry compote was great and the sourness of it went well with the pancake which can get a little cloying. Great for 2 pax and sharing, and a worthwhile brunch meal with chope vouchers πŸ™‚

🍴Black pepper chicken chop
πŸ’° $6.50
🌟 3.5/5

Affordable and came in a huge portion - huge piece of chicken chop along with fries, coleslaw and baked beans. Taste was average but definitely worth it for $6.50 in Holland V!

Possibly the most affordable ice cream + waffles combo in the Holland V area 🀩 However, the waffle while crispy was pretty tasteless. Ice cream was average too and I wouldn't recommend the Salted Mister Brown! PB&J was a much better flavour. Service was great though and staff were really friendly!

Price: $7.80 (1 scoop of ice cream + waffle)

Service was greattt and i really wanted to like this - but was a little too sweet and while the cookie was nice it wasn't amazing for the $4 ($4.50?) price tag!

Noodles were springy and i loved the soup! Sauce was ok and not too salty. Generous portion of noodles and meat and definitely worth the $3.50!
