Wanton Noodles $3 Decent bowl of wanton noodles. The wantons are in the soup bowl. Overall taste was not bad, the noodles were springy and the sauce wasn't overly salty. The wantons are tasty. Risotto Mushroom 🍄 $12 They call this the risotto. Points for presentation though. Not your usual risotto or even Italian. This is just a snack and don't order it as your meal. Only to be had if you are feeling adventurous. Mushroom was too less to taste. Mostly just the rice bowl. Soft and chewy but with really mild flavor. 3 on 5. Hit and miss for me

Pepperoni pizza $15 Not bad for the price. Pepperoni was less than expected. The pizza size was good. Taste also satisfactory. I wouldn't come here just for the pizza. This is only 1 of thr options. Rating 3 on 5

TEPPANYAKI SET The dinner course is their highlight - Tatsu has been around been before chjimes renovation😉it’s a hidden gem of its own, famous through word of mouth for their authentic classic teppanyaki at a decent price 👍 the salmon in foil was so soft that it melts into that rich eggy savory broth 🤤 beef-wise was kinda standard (wasn’t wow according to my partner) and garlic fried rice was deliciously fried with the taste of the charred ness from the flames 🔥

Burpple 1-for-1 @ Mellower Coffee Good coffee at steal prices after 1-for-1! Ice latte ($5.8) had a good strong coffee taste and was of a respectable size while the hot mocha ($6.2) had a good chocolatey taste which complemented the coffee well. The place is at level 6 and you must register at level 2 reception as a guest unless you work there, but not too much of a hassle to get up. The space is cozy and has power sockets with small coffee tables to finish up some work or chit chat over a drink. Would go again if I need a work spot in town!

Caffe Latte I liked their coffee quite a fair bit! It had a relatively strong coffee taste and was well-balanced / smooth. Definitely one of the better coffees I’ve had :)

classy place coffee is averagely priced and the ambience of this place is very classy! However, do note they do not have complimentary wifi for customers

Yum Tua Puu Goong Sod Crunchy winged bean salad with prawns and boiled eggs. This was a lovely spicy salad with so many different textures - soft gooey egg, crunchy beans, springy prawns and a nutty chili paste to round it all off. One of our favorites of the night.

Nam Prik Khai Pu Decided to try something more interesting and this was definitely something a bit more out of left field. This was a spicy dip of sea water crab roe and crab meat served with fresh vegetables. The salty, rich dip was complex and the slightly bitter veggies were a great accompaniment.

Thai Tea Panna Cotta (85B) The panna cotta was so rich in its Thai tea taste that it will definitely satisfy all Thai tea lovers. It comes with a condensed milk (we found it slightly watered down) on the side. Sweet above something already sweet! This is how the Thais do it.

Where rice is served heart shaped. Oh, that’s before we dug in and had to reconstruct it back.

Pork and egg drop soup. This was a huge disappointment. What was meant to be a comforting soup for a friend turned out to be just MSG filled water. I almost had to guzzle two bottles of water down after this meal because of this. I don’t know why but this trip I find that the restaurants have increased their usage of MSG. Not happy.

Sometimes afterthoughts are good. This was one of them. Garlic river prawns! We saw other tables having them and couldn’t resist temptation. They were really good and the garlic oil and all that head miso, you just to have some of the Thai fragrant rice to mop them all up.

Cabbage with fish sauce. Simple and yummy!

There’s something about the way the Thais cook their eggs. Just so good. Take this simple fried eggs for example. Fried to perfection, crispy at the edges and soft and still runny on the inside. Topped with some chillies and coriander, this was one heck of a spicy egg salad. So yummy!

Our hearts are broken because we found out that they don’t have mackerel cheeks on Sundays but thank goodness, we could still order the mackerel fish curry. Creamy, mildly spicy, the sauce was just so good, so addictive. All you need is some steaming white rice.

Banchan They're alright, broccoli was marinated in a slightly sour mild solution. Potato salad was very pleasant, cos it's mild flavoured but has a touch of sweetness to liven things up. Their kimchi has a very strong fish sauce taste which is up my alley, quite spicy too. The wintermelon in mango juice was quite interesting

Rose chewy noodles 18.5++ add egg +1.5++ They're brilliant really. A flavourful slightly tangy cheesy noodles. Yes it's jelat but it's good. There's also mushrooms and seafood chunks. That's a really umami combination coating each strand of chewy noodles An excellent rendition, just make sure you get this to share Must try

Rosé Chewy Noodles Ordered Rosé Chewy Noodles from @doongji.sg recently and I really liked it. It was creamy with a good spicy kick and the noodles were really chewy too. It's good for sharing because the portion is huge. It can feed about 2 people depending on how much you eat 😋

tomato sukiyaki hamburg claypot preferred this to the popular cheese hamburg! because the fan was literally blowing in our face, the warm tomato soup was especially comforting & hearty! each set comes with free flow eggs and salad omg we took all the scrambled eggs on the counter💀💀 i also really liked the coffee jelly as it reminded me of creme brûlée with a shot of espresso!
