Not the kind of banana cake that I love. The cake a bit dry out, but the butter did help moisten it up. And the banana taste is not as strong as other banana cake that I love..
Pineapple on top of a (I think) butter base cake (a pound cake, maybe). Sweet, delicious, and the smell of butter that permeating from the cake so good. Can't help but fall in love with this one
Another variant of lontong sayur padang. But instead using hard boiled egg this one use beef rendang as a condiment :))
There's many kind of lontong sayur (steamed rice cake with coconut gravy) in Indonesia. This is one of the kind, it's using gulai pakis. Tasty and not too spicy, me like!
Savory porridge with shredded chicken, crispy wonton, cakwe (youtiao), fried shallot and very spicy and tasty sambal as a companion. Indonesian used to eat this as breakfast menu. But I definitely enjoy eating this anytime I want :))
Homemade noodles and there's a big possibility they use lard, and that's mean great taste... Note to self tho, I gotta try their Bakmi Karet and Nasi Tim next time
Flan Normand ($7). Love the slightly sour bite and sweetness of the apple. It was an even blend of flavours and I didn't have trouble finishing this as I usually did for (sour) apple tarts.
Upside down pineapple cake. Caramelized rings of pineapple, very buttery cake, drizzled with evaporated milk. A tad sweet but seriously the bomb. @judahdarrell agrees :)
