We ordered a bowl of fish soup beehoon and another bowl of fish head soup. Both were $7 each. The soup was rich and the meat was really tender, especially the fish head. Would recommend that you get the fish head one if you know how to eat fish head!! If not the normal one is good enough too βΊοΈ We had to wait very long for the food to be ready but the wait was worth it!! ππ»
To make full use of our Burpple beyond, we tried one of the more expensive dishes on the menu Aburi Scallop Mekajiki Don ($24) π the quality of the scallops and salmon was very good. However, we felt that the portion was a bit small and might not be enough for big eaters!
We got the Bara Chirashi don ($14.90), the Aburi salmon mental don ($11.90) and the unagi avocado don ($14.90). But we enjoyed 1 for 1 due to Burpple Beyond! We felt the Bara Chirashi don was the best because if itβs variety. Overall, the portion was very filling and the quality was very good for the price! Would really recommend this place :)
We got the sesame chicken base with 5 sides and onsen egg. Price: 10.90 (5.45 with burpple beyond). All the ingredients mixed very nicely together and it was good!! And the meal tasted healthy as well :))
While waiting for renovations to be done at Orchard Central, Tanuki Raw has taken up residence at Kapok. Tender beef with a huge slab Foie Gras, the rice was a bit grainy but overall good value. Come between 5-8 for $2 oysters and free sliders with every alcoholic drink.
$5.50 for a delicious bowl of noodles. What more can I ask for? The egg looked delicious but lacked flavour sadly. :( Love the soup too!
