Tried 5 of their different Rice Dumplings.
1. Nyonya Rice Dumpling
Absolutely delectable!
Couldn't stop eating it!
Sweet, savoury & deliciously addictive!
10/10, would highly recommend!
2. Pulut Hitam Nonya Rice Dumpling
Loved this!
The sweetness of the Pulut Hitam perfectly compliments the savouriness of the Rice Dumpling!
3. Emporer Rice Dumpling
The Royalty of Rice Dumplings
It was so jam packed with so many different delicacies!
Chinese Sausage, Pork Belly, Egg, Braised Pork & more!
4. Hokkien Rice Dumpling w Salted Egg Yolk
A tasty rice dumpling with a Salted Egg Yolk inside.
5. Hakka Pork Belly w Preserved Vegetables
It was really stuffed filled with a generous amount of Pork Belly & Preserved Vegetables!
The pork belly was tender & juicy!
The customer service here is impeccable.
Not only are they very helpful & friendly, they even assist in cooking the meat for you.
There are complimentary free flow side dishes consisting of Kimchi, Japchae & Radish.
Ordered the Pork Jowl, Beef Bulgogi, Kimchi Pancake, Tteokbokki & Jajjang Ramyeon.
While the Main Courses were delicious, it is their BBQ meat selection which is the star of their entire menu.
The staff cooked the meat to perfection, even seasoning it while grilling it.
Wish we ordered more from their BBQ selection.
The price is on the higher side, however with it comes complimentary side dishes, lettuces, vegetables and portions are a good amount and a staff to help you cook it to perfection.
Really enjoyed my dining experience there.
A unique outdoor dining experience, dining in an open area, under a tent and close to nature.
The ambience of this place is one that is cosy and chill, with a cool breeze and friendly people to accompany you throughout the night as you dine on all their delectables.
With a wide array of dishes to choose from, I decided to go with a few which caught my eyes for it's uniqueness.
I had the Honey Garlic Chicken Donburi, Battered Fish Bites, Crispy Chicken Bites with Soy Garlic Glaze and Purple Sweet Potato Latte.
The Honey Garlic Chicken Donburi had a beautiful presentation and an even better taste to back it up, with a lovely combination of flavours from all it's individual components, from the Honey Garlic Chicken to the egg to the yellow daikon & asian slaw, to make one outstanding dish.
The Battered Fish Bites had generous servings, easily shared by two people; same goes for the Crispy Chicken Bites.
Lastly, the Purple Sweet Potato Latte which was rich & creamy, but could maybe do with a stronger taste from the Purple Sweet Potato as even after stirring endlessly, the taste was subtle.
Though the hardest part may be getting there, but once you are there, you will be treated to a unique experience few other places can provide.
Ordered the Half Garlicky Chicken, Chir Chir Mi Chir, Topokki & Cheese and Mac & Cheese.
Started off with the Mac & Cheese, it was really creamy, with a slightly stronger flavour profile, it would be perfect.
Next was the Topokki & Cheese, such an interesting concept, like the Mac & Cheese but using Topokki instead of Macoroni, and it works! Creamy & Tasty; the Topokki was soft & chewy, also loved the extra bacon bits & ham on top of it.
Tried the Half Garlicky Chicken, a huge recommendations is to add $2 for the Topokki & Sweet Potato, perfectly glazed, it was absolutely delicious and combines well with the sauce from the chicken.
The chicken itself was tender & delectable! Loved the Garlicky Flavour.
Lastly, we had the Chir Chir Mi Chir, the chicken was meaty and tender, the sauce that came with it, rich & creamy, and the spaghetti was a nice added touch to the dish.
It was like a creamy carbonara in a form of a chicken.
The outlet is quite hard to find at Lau Pa Sat, being that Lau Pa Sat is humongous and with a plethora of stores.
So it will help as an indicator that the shop is on the outer side on the circumference of the establishment.
Ordered 2 Pelmeni, 1 Pork & 1 Beef, Zharkoe - Pork Stew & Ukranian Borscht Soup - Pork.
The two Pelmeni came with a side of Yogurt, which complimented the Pelmeni perfectly!
Zharkoe was packed filled with a variety of different delectable ingredients.
Ukranian Borscht Soup was rich in flavour.
Both came with a side of bread for you to eat it with.
Overall, the food was definitely affordable, even value for money.
My first time eating Russian cuisines so it may not be accurate for me to judge on its authenticity, however from a general viewpoint, the food was delicious!
A very unique & interesting twist to your usual Bubble Tea concept.
It combines Yogurt to the classic Bubble Tea.
I tried two of their product.
First is the Oreo Boba Yogurt.
5/5, Absolutely Recommended!
Oreo Cheesecake in a drink with added pearls.
The drink was new, interesting & absolutely delicious!
Second is the Acai Yogurt w Purple Rice.
3/5, maybe it is personal preference however it did not resonate well with my taste buds.
Great ambience, really cosy & comfortable sitting.
You will be spoilt for choice with their wide array of cuisines available.
Ordered the Edamame, Crab Gratin w Mentaiko & Buta Shogayaki(Pork Slices in Ginger Sauce.
The edamame is well seasoned, crunchy.
The Crab Gratin w Mentaiko was absolutely superb, 100% recommended.
Soft, Creamy, Savoury
Delicious!
The Buta Shogayaki was full of flavour & very finely cut, easy to eat.
Ended the day with a Premium Sake, not really an alcohol person though, but it was sweet.
Overall, cosy ambience, spot on service & delectable cuisines.
Had dinner with a great friend here.
Started with a tangy tomato soup as appetiser.
Then moved onto Golden Carolina BBQ,
A very generous Truffle Fries, very crisp & delicious
Really big, meaty ribs with rich, savoury BBQ sauce.
Ambience is very cozy, service is very friendly & proactive
Had an amazing dinner experience, highly recommend!
