Rich chicken broth hotpot (+rm48)
Fish head noodle, milky broth with full of punch flavour.
Medium size unagi rice, fresh fish, good flavour outside of Japan.
Flat white that could be stronger. Request for triple shot instead.
Disappointing tonkatsu. Heard theyāre good but nope, meat too hard to bite, service is slow and poor
A must to order to as a starter. Charred with chimichurri sauce, itās still crunchy and flavourful.
Wantan mee is pretty much one of many breakfast food and this spot serve many type of noodles and their specialty is their wantan mee. The wanton is wrapped with large prawn, thatās their signature whereas for their noodle is just mediocre. Was hoping it was more of a wow factor.
Side note, they also have the spiciest noodle that is so scary which youāll need to eat at your own risk. š±
As the title itās one of the best tonkatsu in town that Iāve tried. Even many Japanese came to this spot for their tonkatsu so you know it canāt go that wrong. Checkout for their seasonal produce. I had the oyster from Japan and itās so good. Pork quality is very good with many variety to choose from.
Nicely crumb piece of pork, pork quality is okay but would be better. I still prefer the one at Lot 10 for tonkatsu
Mee Hoon Kuih is also known in Pan Mee by many locals around but this is hokkien way of saying it and itās also different type that you usually get from the shop which is noodle like strip. This type is similar to China northern style noodle which is cut but this is more labour intensive that it requires a skillful people to pull to same consistency or else youāll be having too thick and too thin pieces of flour.
For small size it only cost you RM4.50 without adding any eggs or whatsoever but I would recommend you to pick Medium or Large or even XLarge if youāre really hungry.
The wait can be excruciating if youāre famish but hey good food deserve to be wait right? They make each bowl individually in each pot and to pull the noodle into such delicate texture trust me you donāt want to finish it up too soon. The soup is very clear and flavourful youāll surely bottom it up too.
Avoid lunch hour. Go before 12pm and after 3pm or else expect to wait for 1h onwards
Itās hidden around the flat houses and located at the bottom where mostly shop and surrounding thereās 2-3 pan mee shop but youāll know this is different. Thereās only pan mee on the menu where you can select soup or dry. Soup is my preferred choice, itās piping hot bowl of umami soup with this long, chewy yet not too thick hand pulled noodle. RM8 for 1 bowl.
For caffeine addict thereās this spot in a hole literally in old Klang town thatās open by few passionate coffee lovers in the old shoplot so it does bring a lot of old memories for people that was raised up in Klang. They have a vast offer of coffee to choose from and the famous coffee theyāre popular apart from the seasonal beans that they source is the āHibiscus Coffeeā that cost RM12 for a cup with the ice cube have a real petal of hibiscus and itās pink. Such a bonus for your IG right.
