My partner and I had got ourselves the Confit Salmon, Smoked duck pasta, Truffle chicken Ballotine and Truffle Kombu fries for our side. The salmon was so well-cooked, that it "melted" at the touch of my spoon and the trout roe, shaved fennel, parsley beurre blanc all complemented the salmon very well, leaving a lasting sensation on your tongue that makes you yearn for more. My partner's duck pasta had a Yuzu aftertaste that you would not be expecting in an italian dish, that pleasantly caught us by surprise, making the dish exquisite. My favourite had to be the Truffle chicken ballotine where the chicken was extremely tender and the sauces felt like a symphony in my mouth. This is a must-try!

We ordered a variation of dishes; Flamed grilled angus burger for my main, Baked snapper with sambal Aioli for my partner, Mentai tater tots for our sides and top it off with a hot chocolate along with Purple sweet potato latte. Suprisingly, the food seemed to compliment each other really well as I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! The wagyu was juicy with each bite, so soft, tender and it melted right in my mouth, I love it so much! They were also very generous with the portion for all the mains and sides. The drink revitalized me and it was perfect with the view and peaceful environment that encompasses us. We felt relaxed as though we were in a foreign land, away from the bustling city life. My partner's snapple was great too, the fusion of sambal with traditional snappers was a hit to our tastebuds and we couldn't have enough of it.

Have heard many wonderful things about this restaurant but was pleasantly blown away by what they had to offer. Was greeted with warm smiles from the friendly and considerate staff, and that was only the start of my joyful experience.
We got the Bone Marrow for our appetiser, which had smoked hokkigai clams and fried garlic gremolata, all of which complements each other very well. It was a light start and next came our mains, which were the steaks, mac & cheese and beef heart tomato. My favourite had to be the steaks, which were juicy, medium-rare and excellently cut and served. I was personally blown away by how the green peppercorn sauce went so well with the wagyu, felt like a symphony in my mouth. The steak is a must-try!! Mac and cheese was to die for too, with its rich stringy cheese at every pull into our mouth.
We ended it off with chocolate chocolate chocolate which was a burst of chocolatey flavour in our mouth of 3 kinds: Ice cream, cake and solid chocolate. I have no idea how they did it but having all 3 chocolate in my palette was still in no way overwhelming and just perfectly blended.
The cozy peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant amplified my enjoyment during my dinner, and brought me closer to the festive spirit.

Besides the breathtaking view of the CBD skyline, the meal I had there was unforgettable. The great natural lighting of the restaurant makes the food pics look astounding. But what sets this restaurant apart from others is how the food actually taste as delicious as their appearance!
Came to The Drunken Poet for the vibes and stayed for the food! Got myself the Poet's burger and a Guinness, which were both prepared to perfection. For the beer, the staff placed alot of emphasis on the pouring to make sure the quality is good. The patty of the burger was thick and juicy, along with crispy onion which enhanced the taste of the burger. Everything went well together and complemented each other.
Overall, the vibes were immaculate and it was really a great pub experience and this is a must-return in my book! 😊
Had the Mango purple rice yogurt and the Honey Dew Yo-Tea, and was blown away by how yummy it was! The Honey Dew yo-tea also had crushed honeydew pulps and it tasted really healthy and not too sweet. My favourite has to be the Mango purple rice yogurt, as the chewy purple rice was really addictive and I couldn't stop drinking, and it blend in the sweet mango flavour very well too. Looking forward to coming back for more soon!
Located near Botanic gardens, the restaurant is easily accessible as it was only 5 minutes away from the MRT.
For starters, we had burrata with sourdough, where the sourdough was so well toasted and burrata being creamy and light, it really takes your breath away. The sides we had was Mushroom and Broccolini were also equally delicious, even for me who is extremely picky with mushrooms, since this one was made soft and chewy.
My favourite has to be the main though, they boast their selection of high quality alternative cuts and we were spoilt for choices. We got ourselves the Wagyu MS 6/7 Denver cut and MS 4/5 Deckle cut, both of which were were so soft, tender and it melted right in my mouth.
They were also very generous with the portion for all the mains and sides.
For dessert, we just had to try their famous burnt cheesecake, so we ordered them and it was super soft and creamy that it reminded me of those that I had in Japan.
The overall dining experience was superb and I could not have asked for a better night. Hope to pop by again in the near future!!
Really enjoyed my meal here. The ambience of the location was just right and ideal for meetup with friends or bringing your family to. We got ourselves the Soy beef rib stew, Beef Bulgogi Rice balls and the tomato cheese kimchi pancake. They gave us gloves to roll the beef bulgogi rice into balls ourselves, which was a lot of fun! The food was mouth-watering and very authentic from my experiences dining Korean delicacies and the portions were big. Super worth it for their price point!
Not my first time here but definitely this selection was super nice! Had the kurry chicken, bulgogi cheese fries and chilli soy chicken! My personal fav was the Kurry chicken. It was saucy and delicious, and even had tteokbokki bits in it. The cheese fries were also delicious and super yummy! Portion wise, it was super duper filling, I had to eat much lesser for dinner after. Will want to go back to try the drinks and other chicken flavours out the next time! Cant wait!
Had the combo platter as my main which had an array of different dumpling to try from and had a generous portion. Also got ourself a cherubeki which was very flavourful. They complemented each other very well with the soup too. Staff were super attentive, helpful and friendly. Cant wait to visit here again 😊
Highly recommend this place. The ingredients were fresh and really well made. Got myself the soup version with rice and the soup was scrumptious 🥵 cant wait to go for more soon!!
