Zen ($4.80) i never see mini dessert before as they promote omakase dessert than their cafe menu tbh. but at least their size looked cute tbh. black sesame didn't overlaps each other with matcha and red bean.

Rosti & Sausage ($23) i would be said that their rosti just average lmao at least their scrambled egg and sausage saved the day tbh.

Snow man Lychee yogurt mousse, Yuzu curd white choc cremeux: texture was light and taste refreshing. However it was monotone after a while, no layered flavor.

Yummy hongkong food One of my go to when I visit town for hong Kong food! This bread is the kind of comfort food that I like, especially when the bread is slightly toasted.

Crispy Polo Egg Tart 脆皮菠蘿蛋撻 ($2.30) It's my favourite from three egg tart <3 and quite flaky and also crispy texture on the tart. I didn't expected that their egg crust to be thin and also egg tart filling itself to be too much also. :") but the egg tart taste was quite strong as I thought and did reheat it on the oven.

Miyazaki Green Tea Miyazaki Green Tea (Pot) ($7) it was complemented well as it's good for digestion to eat with pancake tbh and need to wait for tea steep in for flavours at least 5 to 10 minutes for drinking.

Hojicha Tiramisu saw the breaking news on facebook when they closed down on early june so it's quite sad that I decided to visit them before the shop closed down for good. Hojicha Tiramisu ($17) decided to order since I saw a couple of food reviews about their tiramisu series on burrple. But it's not that disappointed tbh as their pancake dough, sauce and jelly got strong hojicha taste. As I compared with Matcha Tiramisu, it's don't have jelly as side dish :"( so not that worth it for their pricing. But their mascarpone cheese really got thick and creamy texture on top of their pancake as I don't really like this tbh. overall it's ok for me but I wanted to try matcha azuki pancake before closed down.

berrylicious pancake 3/5⭐️ -pancakes are much denser than the regular jp soufflé pancakes and had a spongy and cakey bite to them. reminiscent of macdonalds hotcakes. they’re made with a special organic 7 grain mix so pretty healthy?? ;) -the vanilla bean flavor of the ice cream pairs well with the not so sweet pancakes -syrup is a tart strawberry purée blend~

The Laneway Market Loved the Sous Vide Egg with Hash and Crispy Soft Shell Crab Burger!

Sous Vide Eggs $14 Got lucky with my choice for brunch because service and food here is less than impressive. The eggs were closer to soft-boiled than I would have liked but made for a perfunctory sauce in service of the really tender and moreish 24 hour beer braised pulled pork and yummy crispy potato hash. Bonus points for real, crackly pork bacon and sweet marinated peppers. Taste: 3.5/5

| 🍝 Generous serving of Homemade Pasta、 With a huge punch of Truffle every mouth。 ... ~ · Truffled Carbonara - $16 · Homemade linguine, shimbiji, pork chorizo, bacon, soft poached egg, parmesan, truffle zest · Paste is homemade so it's thicker. Truffle kinda empowering especially for first timer, but Truffle lovers like me will enjoy it. Overall it's a pleasant dish · The Laneway Market @thelanewaymarket

Crab cake Benedict Benedict (poached egg with creamy cheese) on in-house crab cake (texture a little like hash brown but more seafood creamy taste) on sour dough. Sided with some salad veg. $20. Good creamy egg as breakfast.

Pulled Pork and Avocado Eggs Benedict Should be better in terms of flavour. Ordered this dish because of good reviews. However, when taking a bite, the taste of food was overpowering. Had to dabble with egg to balance out the flavour of pulled pork. To put it simply, it was salty. Cost: $20

Chicken Cutlet with Swiss Raclette Cheese Last hurrah with them before closure. Unfortunately this signature did not live up to its reputation. I thought three slabs of meat and special cheese justified the higher price, but they're small and simple, and the latter only offered visuals, nothing for the taste. Worse, the baby potatoes were lousy and the house braised sauce was negligible.

Crab Roll Last hurrah with them before closure. This signature was really good. The sensational crabmeat paired with fragrant croissant. The truffle shoestring fries were also superb.

Salted egg yolk chicken burger Salted egg yolk chicken burger came with two (!!) pieces of juicy chicken cutlet and a generous serving of creamy salted egg yolk sauce. Also had the slightly sweet taste of the Tze char oats that paired well with it. Delightful!

Way too expensive for basics Service and table wait was amazing. Food wise mediocre. Literally scrambled eggs with toast for $16, top up pork sausage for 6, adding up to $22. Look at it. Normal pre packed, processed sausages I would say. Normal bread, not even sourdough. What can I say, basic and soulless food. A bit sad and disappointed and way too pricey. Mocha came in a tiny glass cup. Wasn’t tasty too. Ambience??, no ambience.

Reuben 17++ It's decent, everything was not too strong. There could have been more meat tho. The bread had a noteworthy hard crisp which reminded me of crispy waffles for some reason Overall expensive place and not worth it at all, food is decent but quite overhyped

Nutella Banana Milkshake Over-the-top milkshake which tastes as good as it looks. Sat atop are things like brownie, whipped cream, wafer stick, digestive biscuits and pretzels. Overall it is worth a try however the only waiter present that day was really impatient and rude and it ruined the service experience. Waffle With Ice Cream And Berries $28/ppax Nice cost place in forum mall. Relaxed feel and vibe Waffle was great and ice cream was fresh. Staff was also friendly. So 5 stars for the food. The downside was that waffle was not part of the menu, so we didn't know exactly what we were ordering and how much it is. In the end, got charged $18 for a very small plate of waffle and ice cream. So may not come back here soon.

Smashed Avo The avocado toast was glazed with balsamic, dehydrated tomato and topped with parched egg, a lot healthier choice as compared to the rest of the meal.

Inside Scoop
Fully Loaded Avocado Toast This dish really lives up to the name, stacked high with smashed avo, smoked salmon, streaky bacon, tiger prawn, wild mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and crunchy seeds. Loved the mix of textures. It’s creamy, crisp, juicy and a little smoky. The sourdough was nicely toasted and held up well under all that goodness. Pea sprouts and yoghurt dressing added a fresh, tangy lift. Colourful, hearty and a good mix of wholesome flavours 》$28

Pulled Pork Burger Smoky-sweet BBQ pork tucked into a soft brioche bun with crunchy slaw and tangy charred cucumber. The curly fries added that crunch, while the fresh lettuce on the side kept things balanced. Messy but satisfying 》$29

Kelong Prawn & Scallop Pizza The crust was soft with a bit of char, chewy in the middle and best eaten hot. Toppings were generous with tiger prawns, scallops, cherry tomatoes, plus a creamy mix of mozzarella and mascarpone that gave it a rich but balanced flavour. The pesto dip in the middle adds freshness and herby notes that kept the pizza from feeling too heavy. Loved dunking the crust into it 》$30
