Had the gyu-don that was on Beyond. Beef was tender and the flavour of the onions was cooked well into the meat and sauce. Serving portion was pretty generous as well, had no need to eat more after finishing this bowl!

the lobster was really fresh and delicious, but the portion was a little small. i really enjoyed the bisque on the side, it was extremely rich and tasty! the cassava chips are quite average, like something you can get out of a packet.

gorgeous little place with really nice ambience! great for dates imo. i got the kecap manis pork belly which was done really really well. the goose/duck?? fat potato on the side was one of the more unique things i’ve eaten, with thin slices in layers! felt like the crust of a pie. only thing i didn’t like about the experience was the waiter asking us 4 times in total whether we wanted drinks. was a bit of an overkill so if you want to avoid that, go at 2-7pm for their happy hour! $12 for drinks if i remember correctly.

okay so we did not know that açai bowls are actually..... a full meal. we thought they were desserts. worst decision ever because we were so stuffed from dinner but had to slowly spoon every (delicious) bit of açai into our mouths LOL. highly recommend the coconut sorbet bowl, because the sorbet helps to cut through the thickness of the açai (which is given in very generous amounts, by the way). also really love the cookie butter sauce!

paid $13.50 for both using burpple beyond 🌻

we got the burpple beyond pasta and drink set and paid $16 for two people!! pastas we got were the shroomy ragout truffle and kinoko teriyaki. the truffle was a yummy cream based sauce and the teriyaki was more of a wafu style. however, it was slightly too sweet for our liking. togather is closing on 31 march though, come down before then!

PSA: 1-for-1 drinks untill 12am, cosy interior, lively surroundings, what more can you ask for? Food is delicious, rich in taste but slightly pricey (as with all German dishes in Singapore), but highly recommended.

$10++/pint of craft beer is great when it covers everything on the beer menu. Add some incredible spam fries with chili aioli ($10++) on top of that? Beautiful pairing ❀

soooooo yummy!!! come down for a humble but HAWT meal πŸ₯˜ at bishan interchange! the intestine was amazing, different from how singaporeans usually cook it but really delicious.

i got the king’s breakfast burger. Best Decision Ever. the mac and cheese was heaven in my mouth! the egg was perfectly done too. my only gripe is that the beef bacon was rather tough.

also, if you like cats, the area has a million friendly ones for you to pet ✨

i don’t usually like waffles but......... these were decadent. i absolutely loved the earl grey lavender flavour, it had a little crunchy wafer thingy on the side that was amazing! tip: go between 5-7pm, they have 1 for 1 waffles!!

if you like matcha and hojicha, don’t miss this store!!! it’s located very centrally, and their offerings include mains, but we were there for the dessert πŸ€— this hojicha parfait was gorgeous and the hojicha and vanilla soft serve plus cornflakes went together beautifully. the jelly at the bottom was quite interesting, a bit like guilingao. i was not a big fan of the whipped cream on top πŸ™ƒ

points to note:

1. get a seat further away from the kitchen. the nearer it is, the hotter it is.
2. order the calamari
3. order the bruschetta
4. pasta servings are very generous
5. prawns are very very sweet
6. pineapple on hawaiian pizza was pretty sour
7. ravioli serving is massive, not just a few pieces of big ones but many many small ones
