The other day at @picnic.sg for @omakase.burger classic cheese burger ($19.90).

Glad to be able to choose the doneness of my party (medium).

There were a lot of (red) liquid from the meat and and it was dipping all over the place. The patty falls apart easily as well. Truffle fries smelt really great, tasted average.

The meal was a far cry from what I’ve been hearing from others, I hope it is just my experience that day.

Okinawa Rafutte ($15.80) - Melty pork belly made its appearance again. I like that it is not overly fat. Coupled with fantastic service, this is what I call a place that provides dining experience.

Mega Fries ($5.70) - Was recommended by a friend to try Potato Corner and my choice of flavours were Creamy Truffles & Cheese. I love them, especially piping hot truffle one! Outlet I tried was @ Jcube

Part of the lunch menu and you get a generous portion of sliced waygu topped with an onsen egg. The melt-in-your-mouth goodness is pretty hard to describe. Would love to try from their main menu soon!

Brown Sugar Boba Milk, Tiger Sugar (RM 13) - Shake 15 times before consumption, but I strongly believed we did more than that. The gula melaka mixed with milk gave the drink a creamy texture. The giant boba (not much difference to me) had a good bite but it is not sweetened.

This really surprises me as I don’t usually like the taste of gula melaka

The texture of fettuccine is really something I cannot get used to; thin like taupok skin. Because of this, the pasta is unable to soak up the creaminess of the sauce. Couldnt taste the cheese, truffle or anything from this.
