Which was made from steeping coco bean’s husk. It has that washed down chocolate flavour despite the strong smell of chocolate, which compliments the sweetness of the chocolate mud cake so well. The beetroot milk chocolate ganache cake isn’t that bad either. Thick layer of milk chocolate cancels out the earthy flavour from beetroot which made it enjoyable for those who might not be fond of earthy flavour but still wants too keep a healthy lifestyle (but good luck with the milk chocolate ganache 😜)

Laksa Pesto Pasta (RM28) fragrant and worth the money since they add a lot of clams in it (lol i had a hard time getting the pasta but no complains), I added on some Handmade Rustic Bread (RM6) because I though I could scoop up some sauce with the bread, the bread was fine as it is 👌🏻 soft, very buttery and crunchy crust. The Shakshouka (RM18 + chicken sausages RM7) wasn’t that bland as according to some reviews. They might have fixed it 👌🏻 Salmon Fish Noodle Soup (RM28) was hearty for the soul 😇 but might suite during a rainy day than brunch lol

Ordered Black Garlic broth, super garlicky smell but sadly not the taste, still satisfying because it was raining and some of us (me included) was having flu. The spicy one was nice too, not enough kick from the heat but still enjoyable. I’m definitely coming here again. And good news to the muslims that are self cautious: no pork no alcohol 🤧

I had Gajah Mada’s Bandung Style Green Chili Chicken (RM20.50) The green chili paste has the same level of heat as Wong Solo’s. It has the same concept of your typical ayam penyet too but instead of fried tofu, it’s cucur(?) jagung. I might come here again and try the rest of the menu soon 👀

🍹: Espresso Highball, as a person who prefers milk with his coffee, I needed a lot of sugar in this one. They changed the recipe from using coconut syrup (i think) to rose syrup (i think, this was taken long ago mind you). It’s a black coffee soda. Basically.

Dessert! Had Blueberry Mousse (RM15), which was a simple layers of blueberry mousse with sponge cakes inside, and Nutty Professor (RM15), chocolate mousse and sponge cake covered in thin layer of milk chocolate shell. Definitely loving Nutty Professor more because of the melt-in-your-mouth milk chocolate shell 😋

God I love the taste of truffle with salmon. Also, ordered their Kaiju Curry Rice, quite the typical Japanese Hamburg Curry Raisu. But I love the texture of the hamburg, a mixture of that chewable bits (yeah idk how to explain that part properly while writing this in the train). Definitely love the slightly sweet mango on the side, well mango is no stranger IN curry.
