Not kidding when I say this DA BOMB. Every ice cream flavour gives a clean, refreshing taste, and all are pretty darn spectacular — memorable ones include lychee, strawberry basil; while typical ones like chocolate and mango just deliver beyond your expectations.
As my dad said he used to eat this as a kid, you know it’s as good as it gets. Never really liked ngoh hiang but this is the best I’ve tried so far.
Smoked salmon in a bahnmi? What might have been a bagel copycat had the right amounts of Vietnamese flavors (check out those pickles and coriander), and the tofu just added the right touch of texture. Random ordered this to eat in a hurry but will definitely get this again!
Got it 1-for-1 under Burpple Beyond, worth the price. Get the miso soup instead of the kimchi!
Good for 2-3 pax to share. Thought it would appear as in the menu, where the noodles, soup and ingredients were placed separately but it just came with everything in the pot. A very comforting noodle dish; with this and the chicken soup I was torn between which soup to stuff my face with.
Love the rich taste of the chicken soup, and how you can have the chicken directly from the soup or mixed with mala sauce on the side.
When we first got to the restaurant there were NO MORE CRABS :( but somehow we stayed there long enough and tried our luck again, seemed like they had an extra crab from their reservations stash and we got it!! It’s damn cheap and meaty, very worth it.
Favourite dish here, addictive bites of butter squid. The curry prawn was not bad but too spicy.
Took a grab here all for the name of cheap seafood. Here we ordered blindly and hoped everything was cheap (it really was! In the end it was about $15 per pax I think, and that’s including crab). Came really early for dinner so it wasn’t crowded, but it filled up soon after and we were surrounded by people eyeing our table...
The food is good and cheap, but beware the longkang smell here :( maybe not so bad if you sit indoors?
Seriously love the prices in JB cafes, and how well they deliver the quality of the food as well. Baked eggs came with pesto and mushrooms, with buttered toast on the side.
Really enjoyed their latte, which had this deep toasty taste to it.
