yet another pistachio icecream & this time its frm a cozy shop located along 1 of the busiest road in SG - orchard road! 🤪

pistachio has alws been my to-go flavour even if it requires +$ !! 🤩🤩🤩 i wanna know who can make the best pistachio flav 🧐 (lmk where uw me to try tho!)

@playgelato pistachio is centred at a v neutral taste. i wouldnt say i love it bt its an average cut. i would actually make tht the bare minimum for any pistachio to taste gd. 😉

the nuttiness seems to be thr bt oso not thr, got me a lil confused! bt the texture tho… it has this weird consistency in which i dont rly fancy!! 😣😣😣 this airy airy texture tht make the icecream feel UNsmooth!

its oso 1 of the sweetest pistachio ive eaten (not sugary sweet bt more of sweet>nuttiness which means needa drink up!!) 🤫

no introduction needed for this plate of fried rice! 🤤 im a huge sucker of it & in case yall still dk me, i dont rly eat rice bc i dont like it (esp white!! #imstillasian) bt fried rice… is a YES for me 👍🏻

1 of the most impt component of a gd burger is the buns itself! these charcoal buns r nicely toasted tht it leaves a nice charred touch! 🥸👍🏻👍🏻 in 1 bite, i get to savour a myriad of tastful flavours esp the sauces! 😗 using their house-made mayo n other sauces mixing well a delightful touch for the juicy textured portobello! 🥰🍄👌🏻

special highlight to the caramelised onions 🧅!! S H O C K I N G?!! haha 😛 well its bc it has elevated the taste of the burger! so delicious! :)

my v first mexican food experience!! 🥰🥰🥰 i didnt mention much on my prev post for the portobello burger bt can i jus say tht the ambience is perfect for work/study, cozy & w rly friendly staffs! 🤩✌🏻

alright so back to this dish, well the quesadilla didnt rly stood out much to me bc i didnt rly appreciate it bc all i tot was… i can make tht crispy thin layers at hm… possibly a prata? so it didnt rly justify the amt 1 has to pay for the dish! nonetheless, aft taking photos n delaying the perfect time to eat (at its hottess), it still remained crispy 😬 so YUMZ to tht! 😛😋😋

the fillings between the tortilla was… kinda little ._.

i think the major highlight has gotta be the potatos! seldom eating potatos bt these r SO SO SO GOOD! texture was cooked to perfection! (seems like an easy dish bt honestly, not everyone can perfect it!) for once, i actually love eating 🥔❤️🥔❤️

be it its outlet at The Cathay or Cineleisure, i found some key areas in common.
1. Consistency

if u realised, both locations r seen to be slightly quieter on normal days, in fact even when i went on a Sunday, i don’t feel the tension and urge to hurry because of how laid back and chill the vibes @theassemblyground has created. ✨✨ its definitely a considerable place for ppl to catch up w one another or even arranging ur first date! 🥰❤️

so now here comes the part… their food were delicious as well! Crab Pomodoro Pasta 🍝 ($24).

Despite being shredded all over the pasta, the 🦀 meat were legit & generous in qty! Every mouthful of spaghetti would hv bits of crabs in it & its tangy & spicy sauce literally coats each & every strands of al dente noods 🍝

also, managed to try the Miso Pork ($25) as well (not featured in my posts) but its an option that yall might want to consider! Great plating, looks small but dont worry, its a good amt to keep u full! 😉 The miso was distinct & when u let ur meat glide thru it & consumer, its nth but umami & tender juicy pork enters right into ur mouth! 🤓✨

&&& thanks to @burpple once again HOHO im able to get my hands onto them at a 1 for 1 deal!! (both outlets hv 2 main dishes 1 for 1 vouchers!!) so w that said… i guess yall btr head down! 🤪

when i first saw this ft. on @lihosg , i was so keen in trying it! getting a pandan milkshake on a warm sunny day 🌞 is sucha heavenly feeling! :b

got mine @ 75% stevia & as a sweet tooth, i feel tht its still sugary sweet! 😅 putting tht aside, the shake itself was smooth n creamy, w just the right amt of pandan taste however, we’ll prefer it to be slightly stronger n leaning more towards natural pandan fragrant! 🤓

whipped cream provides tht light n airy texture & not forgetting the drizzle of salted caramel w an additional lotus biscoff touch! 🔥 yall shouldnt be new to savoury kicks isnt it?? 🥳🥳🥳

‼️ i patronise jewel very often as if its my 2nd hm bt the outside version & so thrs this 1 lvl tht i roam arnd almost everytime im thr; u guessed it: the basement. its my food heaven 🌟 & ive chanced upon these aesthetically pleasing cinnamon rolls! ive only tried the ones frm Star Cinnamon & im a sucker for it, whenever im at Bugis, I’ll make sure go back late to catch the night deals 🤣 & so @rrooll.sg caught my eyes! got to know tht its under my bestfriend’s lobang (my dearest @burpple) so I immediately grabbed a set of 4 @ $10 😍✨

texture wise, hawaiian has the softest & breadie texture (not forgetting its zesty tomato sauce which deceives u in thinking tht ure eating a 🍕) compared to the others which was slightly crumbly n on the drier side! altho garlic onion cheese was the most enticing to me… was pretty disappointed w the fillings inside as the taste wasnt as complex as what the name suggests! 😓😓 likewise the matcha, it wasnt matchalicious enuf to claim to be a matcha roll bt perfect for matcha beginners! 🤗

didnt heat up my rolls bt i was wondering it it would be nicer if ive followed their recommended instructions? 🤭 anyws… im aiming to try their other flavours soon so do keep a look out keke! ✨
