What a masterpiece. If you ever visit Penang, this is a must place to visit! Every month or so, they change up their ice-cream season to the most creative types and I simply appreciate their creativity. They also serve natural fruit juices which is fresh and suitable after a walk under the hot sun in Penang. Highly recommend! 💯
.
🍋 Dragonfruit + Lemon Ice-Cream (RM9+): I tried really hard to get the best shot as fast as I can cause hello, that beauty is melting! There isnt much taste of the dragonfruit but more of the aroma. But the lemon taste is yummy, sweet sour. Personally I enjoyed it after a hot day under the Penang weather. So far I love this one out of all the types of ice-cream season they have come up with 🥰

Please enjoy this photo I took. I think its too pretty not to share it with you guys ❤️ I would like to thank to whoever that made this cause I will definitely be back for more 🥳 Which pastry would you choose? Write below! 👇🏻
.
📍Le Petit Four Patisserie, Lebuh Pantai Georgetown Penang @lepetitfourpatisserie

Yep, guilty as charged 🤚🏻 Been dying to try their cakes and finally, I got the time to 🥰
.
🌸 Lychee Rose Cake (RM17): At first glance, they are very generous with the strawberries and lychee 🍓 Before I tried this, I expected the cake to be dense, but actually it is a light chiffon cake. It is undeniably good but just wished the cream was thicker and denser to add more taste when paired with the cake. Very instagram worthy tho ⭐️7/10
.
🍓 Strawberry Shortcake (RM16): Doesn’t it look like the emoji 🍰 haha really cute! Again, it is a chiffon cake layered with soft and light cream. Really wish they’d come out a dense or more moist version of this cause that would be so perfect. But its worth the try ⭐️6.5/10
.
This place is perfect for a cake & coffee date. The ambience is super chill, and they make different kinds of cake every time (I’ve been twice) so it’s interesting every time you drop by 🙌🏻

🥰 If you enjoy indonesian food, this place is worth the try guys! Love the ayam penyet and ayam bakar here 🙌🏻
.
🍗 Ayam Bakar Paha (RM17.50): The weekday lunch promo includes white rice and a drink for this price. Usually I’d order the ayam penyet or the ayam bakar. The ayam bakar is one of my favs. The skin is crispy and chicken is grilled just right, inside is soft 😍 there’s 4 sambals you can choose (you can try all of ‘em if you want, sambal is free flow) my fav is the sambal tomato 🍅 ⭐️8.5/10
.
Have you been here before? If yes, comment one of the dish you like there, maybe I might try it out too ✨
.
📍 Waroeng Penyet (Available at Midvalley, Nu Sentral, Sogo, The Curve) @waroengpenyet

Used to enjoy the coffee/drinks here & tried some of their menus years ago. I’m back to see what has changed. But a couple of drinks I wanted was out of stock? So I didn’t get any
.
🐟 Fish and Fries (RM36.90): Its a battered dory fish served with salad & fries. Fish is decent, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, nothing wrong with it. Fries was good too. Love the presentation, only the price is 🥴 There is definitely a decent fish and chips with this same quality out there with a lower price point ⭐️7.5/10
.
🍝Creamy Seafood Pasta (RM36.90): Its a crime to call a dish creamy but the creaminess is like 50% creamy 😐 but meh, taste is okay, plenty of seafood (mussels, squid and fish). But with that price and that presentation? Not even a single garnish? Hell nah. ⭐️5/10
.
📍Dome Cafe (available across Malaysia) @domecafe.malaysia

There is a variation of cuts to choose from. But this time I came to try other things out which is the burgers and the pasta. Also I got the pic of the menu in case you guys want to see what else they serve here 👉🏻
.
🍔 Lamb Burger (RM29.90): Kept looking at this and it reminds me of the Krabby Patty in Spongebob Squarepants, comment if you think the same 😅My foodie partner tried and this and loved it. The patty is super juicy (swipe to see the insides) and fries is also good (i kept stealing some). Just wished the patty is abit less drier ⭐️8/10
.
🍝 Beef Carbonara Pasta (RM22.90): Going for my classic typical order. The pasta was okay, creamy and decent amount of beef. Not absolutely crazy about it. ⭐️6.5/10
.
📍 Me’nate Steak Hub Setapak, Starparc Point, Jalan Taman Ibu Kota Kuala Lumpur @menatesteakhub

🥰 Here’s one place you can go! This place has very pretty handcrafted french patisseries, delicate & creative, feels bad to eat it 🥺 but you guys know, im a sucker for anything pretty that I can munch! 😛
.
🍓 Strawberry Shortcake (RM24): Of course I had to choose this one, I love strawberries! 🍓When I took my first bite, the sponge cake is so light, and the cream is soft and not overly sweet. (Swipe left to see how soft the cake is?!) I noticed something different about the strawberry than the ones I normally have eaten before & went home wondering why the strawberries in there tasted so good 🤔 and after stalking their ig, turns out those are Korean Strawberries. No wonder its so good guyssssss 🤭 (a foodie can surely tell the difference of the strawberry taste!) so worth the try!! ⭐️9/10
.
Will I be back? Most definitely to try other handcrafted items. Really appreciate chefs/bakers that take time to make food taste good AND look good. The waiters are also nice, and ambience is very chillax for afternoon coffee date 👍🏻

📍Le Petit Four Patisserie, Lebuh Pantai Georgetown Penang @lepetitfourpatisserie

My favourite topping is the kiwi, caramel sauce, strawberry, ovamaltine and some crunch crunch. What are your favourite topping? Share with me 🥰
.
📍 Llao Llao Malaysia @myllaollao

.
Churros Donut Stack (RM19): When you cut into the churros, there is vanilla ice-cream hidden underneath all of that 😍 Explosion in your mouth ☄️ However the cream on top can be a lil bit overwhelming so its best to share! I highly recommend this 💋 ⭐️ 9/10

📍 Botanica + Co., Jalan Kerinchi Bangsar South Kuala Lumpur @botanica.co

Go early or it will be packed ok guys ✨ Also the price depends on the size of your chosen protein.
.
🦑 Set Dulang Sotong Bakar (RM25/set): As a squid lover, I gotta try the Sotong Bakar. So far, the sambal bakar is good, spicy, flavourful and I personally love it. It is served with ulam raja, extra sambal bakar, air asam, sambal hijau blend and kuah lemak cili api (all my favourite things in one dulang 😳). The lemak cili api is my favourite, pedas and berlemak memang best 👍🏻 boleh lah korang try ⭐️8/10
.
Next time nak try talapia merah/bawal sebab tengok orang punya mcm besar, puas makan and mengancam ! 🤤🤤🤤

🥳 This place serves some of the typical korean foods you see in korean dramas. I’m loving it! 🔥
.
🍗 Wing and Drummet 6pcs (RM12 Ala Carte): I am happy that even the chicken arrived all the way from Shah Alam, its still got its crispiness. I got to try 3 flavours: Snowing Cheese, Spicy and Soy Garlic. My favourite is the cheese and spicy one. Snowing cheese is just perfect, super yum & masin. Spicy one also is quite spicy, it kicks in a little late but damn, it got me sweating a little 🥵🔥 The soy needs to be abit more salty, can’t really taste the soy but overall really enjoyed it, satisfying 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

🧀 Snowing Cheese flavour: ⭐️8/10
🌶 Spicy Flavour: ⭐️7.5/10
🌰 Soy Garlic Flavour: ⭐️6/10
.
🥡 Fried Topokki (RM12): This is amazing, I totally fell in love with it from the first bite. Kuah dia spicy tapi sedapp, tak tahan pedas but I kept on taking more and more 🔥 They also put some small sausage inside. Spicy food lovers will definitely enjoy this ⭐️8.5/10
.
I would definitely be craving for the fried topokki and snowing cheese fried chicken again. Ugh, worth the try. If you guys live too far away, can always order from BungkusIt or Food Panda. Price is affordable too!
.
📍MyeongDong Fried Chicken, Sportizza Shah Alam Jalan Padang Jawa, Seksyen 16 Shah Alam @myeongdongfriedchicken

Heard of this place because of their unique menu which is the Nasi Lemak served with lobster (but I did not try that though!)
.
🍗 Classic Fried Chicken (RM16.90): The fried chicken is quite good, crispy and yummy. Love the rice (the colour especially!) but not a fan of the sambal tho. Taste quite weird for my pallete, also abit burnt ⭐️7/10
.
🦑 Argentina Giant Sotong (RM21.90): Tbh, did not like the batter. Also the sotong was quite small for me, so it was quite pricey for the portion we got. Nothing special or wow about this dish although the name sounds amazing in my head 😐 ⭐️5.5/10
.
🐟 Grandma Rempah Fish (RM12.90): Out of all, I enjoy this one the most. The rempah and spice being put in the fish is flavourful and aromatic. Don’t even need the sambal, the rempah in there is already better than the sambal to eat with rice 👍🏻 Love it ⭐️7.5/10
