Pork & Chive Dumplings ($32) we did redeemed 1 for 1 burpple under main dish so the ambience was really intimate and dim light setting. consisted of truffle emulsion, truffle pate, coconut flakes and sourdough bread. my friend and i we did enjoy to eat this dish finish bc got not that strong truffle.

cold white brew in original & caramel [2/5] 🚩 note on pricing: also a little confused about the amount paid - we used the 1 for 1 beverage voucher, and the menu on burpple says it's $7.80 for the caramel coffee (higher priced item). we were charged $8.58 ($7.90 x 1.1). it states on their burpple menu that beverages are subject to 10% dine-in charge. we didn't use their space at all & had clearly let them know that it was a takeaway order - not sure why dine-in charge still applies but buyer beware i guess. coffee's a 3.5/5 for us, but marked down to 2/5 considering the sneaky dine-in charge thing. went during lunch hour, service was decent. do note that the cold brew is placed by the side of the cashier & you're expected to self-service by taking the bottle and going to pay. wasn't aware of this and learnt the hard way. coffee was decent - we preferred the original flavour over the caramel. caramel coffee is lacking the creaminess that you would typically associate with caramel sauce. would say that this is abit of an acquired taste - the aftertaste of the caramel comes off as burnt cane sugar. original flavoured cold brew was acceptable, but not one that i would specifically make a trip back for. slightly lacklustre in comparison to the cold brew served at other cafes, and perhaps even more disappointing considering that this is a coffee chain, and their specialty is supposed to be in coffee.

Truly a place to 'escape' to for a relaxing meal One of my go-to restaurants whenever I'm in the Farrer Park area and want somewhere nice and comfy to have a meal at. Located at the 6th floor rooftop of One Farrer Hotel, the place just exudes warmth, comfort, and ambience. Come for dinner so you can have your meal with the backdrop of the garden against the setting sun. On to the food, the Burpple deal only applies to dishes up to $32, so we got the Mala Prawn Pasta and Miso Salmon, both $28. For the pasta, I enjoyed the muted numbness of the mala sauce, and don't worry about the spiciness level as it's a 'Xiao La' at best (though you can adjust this with the chilli flakes given). Five bouncy shrimps adorned the pasta, and if I had to give a complaint it would be that there was not enough of everything! Initially, I thought the Salmon would be like any other salmon dishes I've had, but wow was I wrong. The salmon itself was perfectly cooked - tender, flakey, juicy, and yet with a crisp skin. The sweet-savouriness of the miso marinade made it even moreso flavourful, and you could dip in the accompanying miso bearnaise sauce to take it up a notch. The salad and mashed potato was also great, and overall the entire dish was greater than the sum of its parts. Totally recommend! I also appreciated the complimentary bread to start off the meal which was good, as was the service rendered by the staff. Would return!

Mushroom pesto Wow this is flavourful and well balanced meal. Nice for vegetarians too.

Tandoori chicken Tandoori chicken with rice rice is apparently a good option over briyani that I had previously. The mango chutney is awesome! Thanks to wonderful service crew Akash, Sundara and female waitress for lovely smiles and consideration for my hospital patient.

Best Cheesecake Ever The cheesecake really lives up to their name. It tastes amazing. One of the best cheesecake I have ever had. I also had their burpple 1-for-1 ribeye. It was a great deal and the ribeye had a unique Chao Ta taste

1-1 Ribeye Love the ambience! Very cosy lighting and pet friendly. Service is good too. Redeemed the 1-1 on Ribeye ($37.50) and had Chaota Wings ($8). Ribeye was ok, but not worth if there is no deal. Wings is recommended, very crispy.

Three Scoops ($9.50) I decided to try their gold medal winning flavours. I probably wanted to try their ice cream very long time until now. Let talk about Hazelnut, it remind me about rocher (just one thing). got strong taste tbh but milky and creamy texture. second flavour is salted macadamia & dulce de leche like hmmm i forgot to describe. like savoury and nutty taste for ice cream tbh. pistachio I really never liked the texture and aftertaste tbh. like too much creamy and milky texture.

Regular cup 8.3nett Salted macadamia with dulce de leche. Oh dear the dulce de leche was executed so impeccably. Super complex and intense, and rlly unique. The macadamia was generous and aromatic too Sunkissed coconut was absolutely lovely too. Seems like a combination of coconut water and milk, it's not too creamy not too watery yet it's still very strongly coconutty. Superb

Baked strawberry cheesecake, chocolate sorbet The chocolate sorbet was really good. Balanced sweetness, strong chocolate flavour and just bitter enough. For connoisseurs and non-connoisseurs alike Baked strawberry cheesecake was fine as well, it's strawberry (somewhat weak for their usual standard) with cubes of cheesecake. Not stellar tho Be careful cos they have more than 1 strawberry cheesecake gelato, there's a baked one and a normal one

Dark chocolate fiesta They had multiple dark chocolate with different richess. Ordered their 88% dark chocolate (+1) & Japanese Matcha to level up the richess. Dark chocolate was really rich in flavour & matcha balance it out. I like that the server pay attention to detail such as when I am looking for tissue and looking for cups. Overall, I like the environment and the service.

Dark Chocolate and Hazelnut & Rose Lychee cake slice. Got the Dark Chocolate Hazelnut cake slice and the Rose Lychee cake for the 1 for 1 cake slice deal. The chocolate Hazelnut cake was very sweet and moist. Was expecting less sweet with more intense cocoa flavour and the Rose Lychee cake was on the drier side with a subtle rose flavour and faint hint of lychee. Service was great and nice ambience.

Save Your Time And Don’t Come Here It really does not worth going there even with the beyond deals. With the deals it is gonna be $20 per pax. Sides dishes are prepared badly and roughly (a whole garlic! And the garlic tip wasnt even chope off for the slices). Meats are even worse. Beef are stuck together and even scissors can’t cut it apart haha. Our stoves spoiled half way through the meal, and the black grill paper kept getting onto the meat. It really doesn’t worth 💰20 dollars per pax AFTER 1f1, so save your time and choose another restaurant to eat mate!

1f1 kbbq for ~$17 per pax, quite worth but for $33… probably not. good variety of marinated meats! so didn’t get sick of the food like other kbbq. rlly liked the char siew & bak kwa pork belly and the pickled cucumbers & radish! but nothing super special. worth a try!
