Pork ribs stew 🥘 Squid & leek pancake 🦑 Always craving for pork ribs stew from masizzim!! Both the soy and spicy taste good and it’s a must order! Used to really like the squid and leek pancake because it’s crispy but nowadays it’s a tad too oily for my liking. Pork ribs stew and pancake are more than enough for 2 pax to share (around $18.50 each after ++) because the stew comes with choice of noodles (glass noodles/udon) and a bowl of rice. Queue is still v long during dinner and weekends but not crowded during weekday lunch.

Wonderful experience! Had a wonderful experience at Masizzim last week. Had the bulgogi and their beef stew. The stew was absolutely filled with flavors and I couldn't help but had to get a second portion of it. Ambience and service was really good as well!

Lunch Experience Dining at Masizzim Have ordered the pork rib stew to go along with the Bimbimbap for a lunch meetup with my friend. The pork rib portions were really generous and the meat was fresh and succulent. Had a really full and nutritious meal there as the broth was rich and spicy. Definitely a good place for a quick lunch meetup with friends. 10/10 :)

Not Fantastic Burpple Beyond deal was limited to only crab and seafood (mix of crab + lobster) rolls. I tried the Maine-style seafood roll. I liked the bread which was toasted and buttered, but I felt they could be more generous with the amount of lobsters (only 2-3 pieces in the roll). For $25 it is very pricey but thankfully we had the deal so it wasn’t so bad.

Lobster Rolls used beyond 1f1 deal and opted for the maine-style lobster rolls this time! very tasty and decent portion of lobster 😋 mentaiko version definitely worth trying if you’re a fan 👍🏻

LYCHEE OOLONG tried their Lychee Oolong💗 which is their new flavor. Both lychee and oolong is more of an after taste which i think they used lychee oolong tea to make the creme 🤔

CHICKEN BACON PIE Their Chicken Bacon Pie surprised me by how good it is💯 It’s meaty inside with cookie crust outside💗 served with salad as well 😋

The nasi lemak comes with grilled prawn, otah, fried chicken, ikan bilis and sunny side up. Miyazaki Green Tea Miyazaki Green Tea (Pot) ($7) it was complemented well as it's good for digestion to eat with pancake tbh and need to wait for tea steep in for flavours at least 5 to 10 minutes for drinking.

Hojicha Tiramisu saw the breaking news on facebook when they closed down on early june so it's quite sad that I decided to visit them before the shop closed down for good. Hojicha Tiramisu ($17) decided to order since I saw a couple of food reviews about their tiramisu series on burrple. But it's not that disappointed tbh as their pancake dough, sauce and jelly got strong hojicha taste. As I compared with Matcha Tiramisu, it's don't have jelly as side dish :"( so not that worth it for their pricing. But their mascarpone cheese really got thick and creamy texture on top of their pancake as I don't really like this tbh. overall it's ok for me but I wanted to try matcha azuki pancake before closed down.

berrylicious pancake 3/5⭐️ -pancakes are much denser than the regular jp soufflé pancakes and had a spongy and cakey bite to them. reminiscent of macdonalds hotcakes. they’re made with a special organic 7 grain mix so pretty healthy?? ;) -the vanilla bean flavor of the ice cream pairs well with the not so sweet pancakes -syrup is a tart strawberry purée blend~

Burger Kahwin [~$22.90] A little on the charred side if you can still spot the egg. Aside, this is some power packed burger with 2 patties - beef and lamb.

Seafood Spaghetti Aglio Olio [$18.90] Pricey, but was a pretty good plate with prawns, squid and mussels. Spaghetti was al dente, not too oily and had a generous hand of garlic. Skip their mushroom soup though, as it was unfortunately thin and a little too bland.

Smoked Duck Avocado [$19.90] Don’t think I’ve had avocado in my pastas before, but this worked out pretty well! Smoked duck slices were tender and came in a good portion. They grated cheese on top too, so you get a little of that stretchy cheesy finish.

Chili “Crab” Mantou Sliders Can’t decide whether I like it or nah, I’m inclining towards nah :( I feel like it could do better with more salt and both me and my friend agreed that it is wayyyy too oily as the mantou was deep fried I could taste the oil gushing out of it while i chew.

...Baby One More Time You know those places that proudly declare they serve “hearty Vegan food” but don’t quite live up to it? This isn’t one of them. Meat is great, but these gorgeous Mantou Sliders and that hunky Jack Cubano (both $10) can GET IT any day. Only with a 1-for-1 on Burpple, of course 👅

Old Beijing Soup Pot Noodle The uniqueness of this restaurant compared to other PRC restaurants is its Beijing slant. Because it's in the north, the cuisine can be quite different. I've never seen this noodle elsewhere for example. It's very homely, at the risk of boring. Mainly eggs, clams, sliced meat and greens.

Lychee Rose 🌹 Cake Delish chunks of lychee sandwiched between rose scented cream and the fluffy sponge cake, really yummy on every bite. No wonder it’s one of their popular cakes around ! 😊
