LYCHEE OOLONG tried their Lychee Oolong💗 which is their new flavor. Both lychee and oolong is more of an after taste which i think they used lychee oolong tea to make the creme 🤔

CHICKEN BACON PIE Their Chicken Bacon Pie surprised me by how good it is💯 It’s meaty inside with cookie crust outside💗 served with salad as well 😋

Sesame Mochi Bread (3 Mochi Breads For $8) I liked the sesame mochi bread the least even though it’s pretty popular on instagram. I was expecting it to be a thick, rich sesame paste, similar to tangyuan filling but in solid form. Unfortunately, the sesame paste tasted very buttery, which took away from the earthiness of the sesame. I can see the appeal, but I personally didn’t like it. Wish it had a stronger and richer pure sesame taste.

Peanut Mochi Bread (3 Mochi Breads For $8) The peanut mochi bread was delicious too. It has a chunky peanut paste inside, with whole peanuts for texture, and is slightly salty, which I like! It is slightly drying to the throat as you can imagine, but the mochi helps here to tone down the richer flavours like the sesame and peanut.

Banana Choco Mochi Bread (3 Mochi Breads For $8) The highlight of Muyoo’s bread is the texture of their breads for sure. It has a chewiness that makes it taste like Japanese breads with tang zhong in them, and I love it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I liked the choco banana mochi bread the most. It isn’t too sweet and has some banana purée inside. The mochi is the typical soft type that they put into breads that remain chewy at room temp. It’s not too sweet and also fun to eat, I guess. Overall, I wish they did the choco banana one with more banana purée and no mochi! That would be delicious.

I tried the wagyu beef don, and added sen-ryo Tamagoyaki ($2.50). Beef strips are flavourful and tender, the don could use more sauce, luckily the runny egg helped. Charcoal Grilled Australian Wagyu Bavette Steak Hands down to the chef that’s in charge of cooking the beautiful piece of wagyu for me. Rating 10/10 Melt in my mouth I literally wanted to cry because it’s so delicious 🤤 no black pepper or mushrooms sauce need man. It’s just the juice from the meat. Omg im literally drooling just thinking about this. $33 All i did was close my eyes and enjoy and savour the moment. I can’t wait to come back. Definitely my favourite. Oh definitely the best.

Pretty Food @ Arteastiq /Art-is-tic/ The food looked pretty and just like the pictures in the menu except that they were not spared from shrinkflation. What we had: + Squid ink pasta with scallops + Duck confit + Ribeye steak with foie gras + Lychee peach tea (cold) Overall not too bad, especially with Mario & friends as the backdrop during this period. ☺️

Still a wonderful place for a meal It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Arteastiq, be it the Jewel or Plaza Sing branches. However, I visited the one at Jewel again recently, and was pleasantly surprised and pleased to know they’ve kept their standards high still! I had my go-to, the crabcake breakfast, and it was very well-executed as usual, although I’m not sure if the portion has shrunk slightly over the years. We also had the honey chicken mid-joint wings, which was some of the best wings I’ve tasted in a while! Will always be recommending Arteastiq, although it’s a bit on the pricier range :)

Original Truffle Shoyu Soba (Regular - $16.80) Honestly I did struggled with ordering between premium char siu truffle shoyu soba and original truffle shoyu soba tbh. But their ingredients is not that filling as the picture shown on the menu itself. My friend suggested me to order regular size instead of light size. But I did enjoyed their truffle infused soup broth taste fragrant and got mild texture (like not strong or light). But the char siu taste quite normal tbh. The soba texture was not that hard or soft (dent type noodles). We agreed that just paying their soup broth's pricing only and not for ingredients.

Kurobishio Tonkotsu Soba My friend ordered regular size ($13.80) add on for Onsen Egg ($1.80). The soup broth taste like minced meat but slightly strong for me.

5 star soba!! ordered 3 sobas, broth for all 3 sobas were extremely rich and flavourful, not too salty as well. the noodles are cooked to chewy perfection along with the silvers of fresh chashu slices. price was reasonable coming from a michelin star restaurant👍🏻 restaurant was bustling with customers but staff were efficient which led to shorter waiting periods! would definitely patronise the shop again!

High Tea The lemon meringue tart & chocolate macaron is good but the others are so so. The potato goes well with tar tar sauce!

Vegetarian Breakfast Platter Love this, big portion too! Pumpkin is so sweet, those Japanese pumpkin type. Portobello mushroom & cherry tomatoes is big & juicy. Scrambled eggs are well done 💯 everything is so good I have no complains, will go back!

Scrambled Tofu and Broccoli ($9.80) Interesting dish. The scrambled tofu is not as good as actual scrambled egg, but it’s a good alternative for vegans.

Dry Dumpling Noodles (SGD 13) Keep coming back to Real Food’s dumplings. Decently sized and Stuffed with mushrooms, carrots and a variety of other vegetables. Served with cherry tomatoes, kailandar and thick noodles in a light mild sauce. Like how their dishes bring out the flavor of the vegetables without overwhelming them. Good choice for a clean meal

Vegetable Balls ($14.80++) Spaghetti with tomato cream sauce, and four huge vegetable balls. One was beetroot, one was quinoa, and two were chickpea. I loved the vegetable balls, especially the beetroot and quinoa ones. It’s a bit pricey compared to other things on the menu, but it’s delicious.
