Expect long que for this popular noodle at blk 58 bedok market. $2.50. They have mee siam that looks delicious too :) this laksa is nice and doesn't have that overpowering coconut milk taste as compared to some others . Has ample "hum" cockles too . Happy midweek everyone !

Do u enjoy eating these sticky 年糕 ( literally year cake in English ..only eaten during lunar new year ) some call it 甜粿. You are deemed as a year older after eating it 😂 and considered good luck to eat as the word 糕（cake) has the same sound as 高（high) which means one will get to a higher level in life or at work in the coming new year 😄

This is putu bambu .. Similar to putu piring except this is steamed in a bamboo mould . So yummy ! Love the gula melaka filling . Grated coconut and some brown sugar is sprinkled on it . $2 for 3 pieces. It's around the china town hawker center .

I much prefer this set .. Forgot the name of this set thou.. Chicken is in the green " basket " and meat is easily tore off ..nice and tender .
