Taste kinda like hashbrowns/french fries. 2 dollars for 6 pcs inside. Wish there was a chicken nuggets version.

A cheap way to get your tummy filled in town. I asked for extra noodles and the owners did not charge me extra money. Store is located at Midpoint Orchard coffeeshop called Ming Kee. Overall, a 3/5 rating.
Yes i know, the picture looks kinda gross. However, is the taste is so good! Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. This is the 5 dollar portion. Must try in my opinion! A 4.5/5 rating! The stall is called Xin Dong Fang at Old Airport Road hawker centre!
This store is called Xing Li Cooked Food. Ordered the 5 dollar portion. Oyster is fresh and there is definitely more egg than starch. The chilli is good as well! Definitely recommend to try. A 4/5 rating!
The crab is certainly fresh and gravy is tasty too! Another dish that is a must order here. A 4/5 rating. Do note the crab price may vary as they will charge via market pricing as per their menu.
However, the phrase "Do not judge a book by its cover" certainly applies here.
The texture of the bee hoon is somehow moist and smooth. Not to mention you can taste the strong wok hei! I ordered the small portion which cost 7 dollars. However, I wish I had ordered a bigger version! A 4/5 rating.
One of my favourite ramen places. Love the green tea cola here as well. *Burps*
Besides ordering my usual dishes, I ordered q new dish called Butter Calamari.
There is certainly the butter taste alright. Not too strong and not too mild. The texture of the calamari is not tough and too chewy as well. However, i find this dish a little oily.
Overall, a 3.5 rating for me. Be sure to order this and try it yourself. Think most people will like it! Do take note that they have relocated to 9 Tan Quee Lan Street, S'pore 188098. It is actually quite near Shaw Tower though.
I like to eat tempura and I have to try this recently opened store. Ordered the original Kohaku tendon($15). I find the sauce of the rice a little too salty for my liking. The vegetable, prawn and sotong tempura is fine. However, the chicken tempura is a little hard. Overall, I give it a 3/5 rating. If you come during peak hours there is gonna be a queue for now so be prepared to wait.
So I had to try it myself.
To be honest, the dish is rather average in my opinion. Portion is rather small but that is typical of most Ba Mee in Bangkok. However, the price costs 100 Baht compared to the previous price that was around 50 baht.
Hence, I will just give it an average rating of 2.5/5. I believe you can can more value for money Ba Mee at Yaowarat district at Bangkok.
The stall is called 'Fried Kway Teow". However, carrot cake seems to be their best dish.
The cake is tender and soft. The egg nicely fried and the sauce is so tasty. Definitely one of the most delicious carrot cake I have eaten. This portion in the picture is 3 dollars. Comes in $2.50 portion as well. Highly recommended to try. A 4/5 rating!
