nachos w crab meat we got this to share - the cheese sauce on this had a smoky undertone to it, extremely appetising. it topped with a little of caramelised onion (i suppose it was blowtorched), and chunks of crab meat. would've preferred for the crab meat to not be panfried as that made the crab chunks dry and less tasty. i think this would've been better with plain or lightly seasoned fresh steamed crab meat. nachos do get a little soggy from the cheese sauce after awhile so consume it when it's fresh! total after burpple's 30% off food bill on mon to thurs discount + 10% gst + 9% service charge = $13.77!

lobster roll with cajun fries 🦞 buttery soft brioche bun with a crispy exterior, filled with juicy chunks of lobster slathered in a light and tangy dressing. ordered this dish with a side of cajun fries & we had no regrets - you had the option of normal fries, sweet potato or truffle fries (at +$1 each for these two flavours). coleslaw was done well, great pairing to cut through the fries. 10/10 dish, would come back here again just for this. we used the 30% off total food bill here, and the total of this dish came up to $49.52 after discount + 10% service charge + 9% gst

poached rice in lobster bisque w/ fish fillet was initially abit disappointed when the dish was served because the soup didn't look appetising & tasted too creamy / milky on it's own. however, the soup was perfect when consumed with the rice. the dish came with fried fish on the side (pictured) that had a thin batter that wasn't too oily, while the bowl that was topped with a onsen egg had fresh seafood like prawns, scallops and clams. total cost after burpple discount; including service charge & 9% gst was $17.88. very affordable for the ingredients used, very filling too!

Burple 1 for 1, 2pax $80.43, 1 soup + 3 sides + rice & drink Ordered the Barramundi Soup (small) and it was soooo good. 🤤 Would 10/10 recommend. Sides ordered were Mapo Tofu (second time visiting and their standards are inconsistent considering that I visited only 1 day apart. 1st visit was really tasty, they gave a lot of meat but second visit there were barely any + super tough). Chengdu spiced mini potatoes paired nicely with the soup and slightly spicy Mapo tofu. It was crispy and had a nice little spice kick. However the final side was a disappointment - chopped garlic pork belly(pictured). The serving costs $13 bef gst however the portion was really little (like why they hide the cucumber underneath to make it look like a pile of pork to make me so happy but then peekaboo it’s actually cucumber and I don’t eat veggie leh????boo), that aside the sauce was extremely spicy. Don’t get it unless you bring ur sugar daddy and he’s gonna be paying.

Good ice cream Premium flavours @ $5.20 with burpple beyond deal. We got hokkaido strawberry milk and apple yakult, flavours that are less found in other places. The former was mild and creamy, while the latter was a bit sour but refreshing. The serving was generous and enjoyable.

Double Scoop Besides the photo-worthy neon signs, Icebar offers a limited selection of gelatos with unique flavours. They are also open late till 2AM on Fridays to Sundays for you to get some late-night ice cream. The gelato here is priced at $4.20 for a classic scoop, $5.20 for premium, $6.20 for super premium flavours and additional scoops for $3.70. I went with their recommended flavour of grape Yakult (premium) which was supposed to be light on the palate while Binggrae banana (premium) for something milky. The grape Yakult flavour feels light with a very faint grape Yakult flavour. I would love it if they add more grape Yakult into it. The Binggrae banana was creamy and milky, something expectable and not too far off from the actual beverage. Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Scoops for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P $5.20/scoop)

Waffles + Ice Cream Decided to comeback for their waffles mainly because previously I tried their ice cream alr. So i a bit hesitated to come back because its too far for me to go back to home during night time. Waffles got crispy and crunchy texture as it's really high recommended for sharing with 2 to 3 people if you all really wanted to order waffles.

Ube It is very surprise to see them open pretty early in the morning as a gelato shop in this quiet neighbourhood. But they also offered drinks options here. Could be a good spot to chill in between meal and gathering. The ube which is the yam flavour attracted me for its super purple colouring. Tasted creamy and tasty.

B supreme plus burger and the assembly burger Superb burger, portion size was good and the fries were freshly fried. Liked the B supreme plus burger more. Blue pea flower tea is good too! Will come back again even without the burpple 1-1 deal

1 for 1 pasta The truffle mushroom pasta was really good! Would come back here for this! 😋

Crab Pomodoro ($25++,) Really worth it when using Burpple beyond deals. The pasta was not too spicy. There was also a lot of crab meat. Some are quite big pieces so you can chew and taste the crab. Pasta are always great here, no complains.

not bad!! strawberry panna cotta was pretty good!! but had to be drank fast (which was hard because of how rich it is) as the milk will start to oxidise. i much preferred the black tea panna cotta!! it was v fragrant and not as sweet, which paired really well with the thick panna cotta

Divine felafel sandwich Not only is this place kosher, halal, and vegan, but it also shows that vegan food can be tasty too <3 I love the fill free sandwich. I also recommend the pita chips and the babaghanoush 🤩

back at my fav place for hummus & pitas! I tried their PITA CHIPS ($3.50) which was 1.5 pitas cut into thin strips & deep-fried till crunchy💥💥 They were then dusted with cajun & za’atar, and served with tahini and harissa. super addictive but pls share bcoz i finished it and the oil was swimming in my stomach HAHA

Huhner Cordon Bleu@ $32 Breaded Chicken Breast stuffed with Ham & Cheese. Chicken breast was tender and not dry whatsoever. The generous serving of cheese overflowing out with evey slice of my knife. Cooked in a breaded schnitzel style, a German way of cooking chicken cutlet. The breaded crust was cooked to golden orange. And topped off with a leaf of vegetable to make you less guilty. Beef Tenderloin Had this steak. Asked for medium but it seemed medium rare. Nice soft and tasty. Seated outside. The tables are well spaced out. Pleasant evening. Burpple Beyond could not be used for special dishes like this beef steak. The coupons are valid for pizza and spaghetti dishes.

Linguine Vongole, Fettuccine Boscaiola Great cozy Italian restaurant with amazing ambience. The pasta was cooked al dente, but the flavours could be better. Fettuccine was super salty, clams for vongole were not fresh.

A Little More Flavour Please Nice ambience and great service! Ordered six tapas for dinner with husband and it was quite filling. The flavours were quite simple and a little too subtle, e.g. the octopus was served with a piquillo sauce but I could barely taste it, the bikini sandwich was not bad but we couldn’t taste the jamon, the prawns (pictured) were just one-note. Love the laid back ambience though and would visit again to try their paella and other mains. Our server Izzue was really friendly too. Total cost for six tapas and 2 bottled beers came up to $120+ (including usage of a 1-for-1 tapas deal). Tapas ordered: Grilled octopus Prawns Ham croquette Eggplant toast Bikini sandwich Meatballs

Berenjena A La Manchego ($14++ U.P.), Pulpo De La Casa ($18/$36++ U.P.); On Burpplebeyond I actually thought repeatedly about the homemade coca bread with chorizos, I had when I was here with Mum, which made me very determined about a return visit. Was very glad that the other seafood tapas I’d introduce the rest of the family to for the first time were great Spanish tapas in our metropolitan little red dot. First was this bulbous stuffed squid that was well handled with some salivating chorizo bechamel; an absolute flavour party on the palate. The classic grilled octopus tapas was another well handled seafood with a generous large dash of white bean purée which I’d classify as for the acquired taste. While the eggplant “toast” was outshone by the other tapas, they were comfortingly oily; think straightforward thin slices of the purple fruit with savoury cheese melted atop.
