This restaurant's combination of a snazzy ambience, attentive service and refined food is bound to knock your date's socks off. Go for the tender and smokily charred Grilled Octopus with Smoked Peppers, Eggplant and Black Olives ($45), but if you're not a fan of seafood, the luxuriously creamy Tagliolini with Scampi & Avruga Caviar ($38) will do just fine.

Another burger craving satisfied!
Visited Glasshouse by DHM which is a consortium of restaurants, L’Entrecôte, &MADE, Sabio and Ange Cafe, all housed in one terrace.
The burgers on the Burpple Beyond’s 1-for-1 menu caught my eye and particularly, Blue Moon ($22++) because I loooove blue cheese! The medium rare dry aged patty was tender and juicy while the bacon was crisp yet easy to chew. The golden shoe string fries were a treat to have especially with the restaurant’s gourmet house ketchup. My only gripe with this burger was the lack of French blue cheese as I could barely taste it. Still, it’s really value for money even with or without a 1-for-1 deal!
My second time patronizing this pizza restaurant! Savory slices of smoked bacon with red apples overlay the onions, capsicums and mushrooms in barbecue sauce. Recommending this pizza flavor, especially if you’re a bacon lover like me!
(S$18 - 10 inch)
This acai bowl was yummy! It was light, refreshing, and nutrient packed with goji berries, coconut shavings, granola and fruits among others. Acai blend was not too goopy or icey, which is great too!
Got the large triple A as part of the Burpple 1 for 1 deal and it was filling enough to qualify as dinner!
A dish I never failed to order since my first encounter here. It only taste better.
Expect an intimate yet casual meal at this 17-seater counter that's made the list of The World's 50 Best Restaurants (not to mention the top spot on Burpple’s Hot 100 in 2015), and watch as the chefs work with the massive dual cavity oven and elevation grills. The Burnt Ends Sanger ($20) reigns supreme, with smoky, juicy pork shoulder that's been cooked for 10 hours, topped with red cabbage slaw tossed in chipotle aioli, nestled between two fluffy, buttery brioche buns. Be sure to share this as you'll want to save space for other dishes. Another signature mainstay on the menu (it changes daily) is the Quail Eggs and Caviar ($15), it is simple yet complex. Steak-lovers, go straight for the Onglet ($26/100g) — a charcoal-grilled hanger steak charred to perfection and packs a punch of flavour with the accompanying burnt onions and bone marrow. Have as many desserts as your stomach can handle, but don't miss the perfectly balanced Pineapple, Rum and Vanilla featuring roasted pineapple, pistachios, French meringue, Tahitian vanilla ice cream, and dark rum glaze. For so much quality, the prices are certainly not steep here.
Was certainly not expecting this mammoth of a tartine. Couldn't finish it even though I absolutely loved the crispy toast smothered under chunky tuna and onion mayo with a blanket of melted cheese. Definitely recommended for two to share.
