New offerings at Non Entree Dessert, my favorite joint for sweet fix. Refer to picture for prices.

Saw these right at the end of ML Quezon National Highway (nearer to Shangrila Mactan). Works out to around S$3 per chicken! They looked huge but when it's cut the chicken "collapsed" and became rather small πŸ˜‚

Came here because their stall was awarded the Michelin bib gourmand. Did not feel like crabs or shellfish so we made do with a sambal stingray. There were lots of Korean tourists patronizing the stall too. Not sure what criteria they fulfilled for the award tho. The stingray tasted just like how a stingray should taste πŸ˜‚

Heard from an acquaintance that this was expensive? There are many outlets so.. maybe some are franchises and their prices are not regulated. Anyway.

Even though it's a BBQ restaurant they serve cooked food as well. Like salted egg prawn, salted egg squid, butter chicken. They have soup, crispy pata, lechon kawali etc. This is a good place to go if you're in a group and there are people who do not want to have BBQ. The food was okay, unfortunately their salted egg dishes paled in comparison to Singapore's lol. The 6 of us ordered around 8-9 dishes? With drinks it worked out to about $6 per pax.

From Lola Lucy's stall. Did not dare to order as it is probably served raw.

Found this on TripAdvisor. Walk around and check the prices first, some stalls are cheaper than others. We ate at a corner stall called Lola Lucy. Rice is served wrapped in banana leaf (??), like a ketupat. Food was a good mix between meat (pork, chicken, sausages, innards) and seafood (fish, squid, prawn, clams). We even saw Okinawa seaweed! The sauce for the chicken and fish (not pictured) was really flavorful. Better than Matias BBQ in terms of taste. Price wise our meal was around $12 per pax, about 50% more expensive than Matias.
Plastic gloves are given so you don't have to dirty your hands.

Found this place on TripAdvisor. The food is mostly meat- pork Belly, chicken thigh, chicken heart, sausages, etc. The only seafood they had was fish, and it was really tough to eat because there were many bones :(
You pick whatever food you want & leave it on a plate. The staff will deliver it to your table when it's done.
Personally I prefer Larsian for the food, but Matias is much cheaper. It worked out to less than $8 per pax inclusive of multiple beers and fruit shakes for a group of 8!

If I can only order one dish, the Fat Cow donburi would be it! Sliced beef with onsen egg on a bed of truffle oiled rice. So good! Their Foa Gura donburi is good too, but not as great! It lacks the onsen egg and the rice is marinated with black sauce instead. Reservations are a must or you'll risk being on waitlist. Definitely go for lunch as it's more affordable.

Fat Cow is one of my fav restaurants for beef! Decided to order a Foa Gura don (foie gras & beef) for a change and was reminded by why I always order the Fat Cow donburi instead. It's good.. but the latter is better! Lunch set comes with soup, chawanmushi, salad and honeycomb ice cream.

Bought an ugnut (unglamorous donut) at the Singapore Tea Festival today. Unfortunately it tasted stale, like it was left out for a long time. If it was $2-3, yeah ok whatever, but $7 for this?!?!

1 for 1 Singtel promo for their flaming burger until August! YAASSSS

For 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese I thought it was pretty value for money even without the promo. You're supposed to blow out the flames before they extinguish but I was too busy taking both videos and photos that part of the bun got burnt lol. It was very nice of the waiter to suggest swapping the charred bun with a fresh one at no cost. And oh, free ice water! My only gripe is that there was no veggie/salad accompanying the burger but that's okay cos the double patty made up for it!
