Ordered an Iced Latte size XL & it’s only $6. Really a steal for its price and quality.
Although not as creamy as I usually have my iced lattes, but the coffee is very strong and aromatic. Leaves a slight bitter after taste in your mouth after but the good kind!
Will be one of my go to coffee places:)
Not as thick as what youll expect from Matchaya but still a decent cup of matcha latte in terms of concentration of their matcha. If they would dial back on the syrup, I think this makes a p good matcha latte.
The chocolate aspect came on strong yet I was able to taste the coffee - truly one of the best iced mocha I have tried.
Will recommend!
Apollo really got their proportions on their iced latte right!
The right balance of coffee and milk! The coffee in is strong enough for it to stand out, blending perfectly with the milk for a creamy taste, leaving your mouth with a mildly bitter aftertaste.
One of my go to for an iced latte:)
A signature of Akira Back, this juicy well-marbled A4 wagyu striploin smoked with Applewood is a must try.
Wagyu Burger Salad

• fresh mozzarella
• arugula
• roasted tomatoes
• roasted pine nuts
• chimichurri
• shaved parmesan
Pretty solid but simple burger, would recommend 👍🏻
Ordered:
1) Cotton Candy Crazyshake ($22)
2) Vanilla Classic Shakes ($12)
Ordered them milkshakes for the gram but it’s soooo sweet, we couldn’t finish it.
Would not order them again!! For health sake and for the sake of my wallet.
With the reopening of Kok Kee Wanton Noodle, my colleagues excitedly left for lunch early in anticipation of the Long queue. Never did we expect to queue for 1.5hrs??
My colleagues had the opportunity to try their noodles before they closed & were quite excited when they heard they reopened.
Their fried wantons are pretty good - would order them if I were to revisit. But noodles wise, I’m not a fan as it’s on the wetter side though I was told the sauce is their secret recipe.
Based on the reviews and recommendations on restaurant week’s platform, I booked a dinner slot at Taratata Bistro for my family.
Having gone with the 3 course set, we ordered the following dishes:
Appetiser - foie gras, tuna tartar
Main - beef stew, duck confit
Dessert - choc mousse, cheese platter
When placing our order, we were told that their signature dish were beef stew and duck confit so we decided to try. Not sure if it was just that day or the food is not suited to our tastebuds but we struggled to finish the beef stew. It was too salty and the meat was too hard. Duck confit was better but nothing to scream about. Their dessert turned out to be a pleasant surprise though.
All in all, was an interesting experience with restaurant week but wouldn’t revisit.
If you’re about the wild life/conservation, this post may not be for you but I have to make a disclaimer that this is one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been visiting taste paradise, the ion outlet religiously over the last many years ever since my taste buds had the privilege of trying the sharks fin soup in stone bowl.
I cannot stress how good it is & the portion is just right for me - my meal could just consist of that one dish.
The soup has a starchy texture to it but very tasty. It comes with a cracker sort of thing which is also glorious - eating it alone or dipping it with the soup.
I understand there are various grades to the sharks fin but the superior grade - $58 per serving is good enough for me.
Definitely a must have dish for anyone who visits Taste Paradise❤️
I generally do dinner for omakase but lunch sets are a lot cheaper so we decided to try out Ashino at Chijmes.
For lunch crowd I would say it was quite decent - 3 groups in total. Food was good and when I shared that I like Uni the Chef brought out a box worth.
Worth a visit if you’re looking for quality omakase at a lower price point 😌
A lover of Japanese cuisine, it’s no surprise my family went to Hachi to celebrate our birthdays. Right from the start to end, the staffs were attentive & presented dishes based on our preferences. We love Uni & so the Chef incorporated more Uni dishes into our course.
Finishing of the course, Hachi presented their signature black sesame ice cream as dessert - it’s really amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had.
Topping it off, the team presented a musical box brought back from Japan that played happy birthday.
Having gone to many omakase restaurants, Hachi is ranked one of the higher ones with Kisho still taking the lead.
