And All Things Delicious is Tolido's Espresso Nook's newest neighbour, which offers a wide variety for halal-certified bakes such as Gula-Melaka Scones, Brownies and Galettes. The baker insists on using unprocessed ingredients such as unsalted butter organic ingredients so as to make their bakes taste more "natural" and it shows; clean yet flavourful treats indeed. They also share their shop space with Fictive Fingers that does pretty decent handprinted textile designs, if anyone is interested.
Lovely soft lamb with briyani rice, the mediterranean style (:
Nasi Ayam: My favourite chicken thighs well-soaked in black sauce. Fresh and juicy. Soup was tasty. Rice was a bit little. Chilli was superb! (My rating: 9/10)
Cockles fried Kway Teow: Very very nicely cooked. Adequate spices and also cockles! Chilli padis made it even better! (My rating: 9/10)
Fried rice: Spices were adequate and it was niceeee too! (My ratings: 8.5/10)
Tiga rasa beehoon: Tasted abit too curry-ish and too soaked. Maybe its not to my preference! (Ratings: 6/10)
Flavour Flings is a brand new heartland cafe located in Hougang, bringing hearty brunch servings to residents and everyone else in the area. Recycled-wood furnishings give this place a very laid-back vibe, perfect for casual brunch affairs. Menu items include eggs done in a variety of ways - poached/ baked/ fried, pastas as well as pancakes. Tastemaker Raine Liu recommends Marie's Baked Eggs; 'tomato based eggs with mushrooms and spinach and cheese which went well with the toasted sour dough bread.'
From main dishes to awesomely awesome desserts that soothes your throat! What's more, it's certified halal!
They have quite a good spread of indonesian dishes. I took really long to choose what dishes i wanted to savour cause there were just too many, i was indeed spoilt for choice!
I had tahu telur(my all-time fav), ikan kremes, ayam panggang padang, sambal kangkong, and the particular one that i love so much is this CUMI CUMI BELADO SQUID! You've gotta try this like seriously, its too nice.
On the dessert side, the Es Teler is superbbbbb though i particularly love the presence of jackfruit in it only since im not really an avocado person.
Overall the price range was quite affordable, below 20 should be enough for ala carte but if dishes and rice, maybe a little more! Its accessible too since its just across Great World City. Go try! ♨♨
