Fangko Melaka brew ($6) - Coffee was very smooth and aromatic though the gula melaka flavour was rather faint ☕️

Butterfly lychee soda - Sweet, light and refreshing, the right drink to cool off the spice.

𝙂𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙬𝙞𝙘𝙝 ($14) - Topped with loads of thin shreds of cheese, reminding me of those in martabaks, Indonesian sweet pancakes. - Mashed avocado was really buttery creamy, thick and didn’t taste raw at all, pairing well with the cheese with hints of milky sweetness probably from mayo spread on the sourdough 🥑

Good food but Burpple menu is limited Had the prawn mentaiko pasta, plus the cauliflower side and the ribs. We went there wanting to utilise the Burpple deal but were told that all the mains we wanted were excluded from the deal. A bit of a downer, seeing as there aren’t many dishes on the mains and pasta list to begin with. Nonetheless the food was still good and worth a try - hopefully it’ll be included in the Burpple deal next time though

Won’t Be Back We utilised the 1for1 and the Waitress didn’t sound happy about that, then abruptly told us to cancel our Chope reservation so they wouldn’t be charged. Not a request and no “please” or “thank you”. We didn’t feel good dining there tbh and decided we wouldn’t come back before even having tried the food. Do take note their menu is different from the one listed on Burpple, some items have been taken off or replaced. We left with our food half eaten but I shan’t comment further since our tastebuds could already have been skewed by the not very pleasant experience.

Catch Of The Day ($18) Catch of the Day ($18 before GST) - pan seared fish with house special sauce and fermented yuzu chilli on the side. Fish was nice and tender, sauce was sweet and creamy. The chilli came in such a tiny dot on the plate that I almost missed it out - but it was strong and flavourful, a pity that I couldn’t taste the Yuzu in it.

Ginger Lemonade / Iced Lemon Tea The ginger lemonade is made using actual fresh ginger juice. I like how the zing of fresh ginger plays off that sweet-tart base 》$6 Each

Miso Pork Belly Bowl The miso pork belly bowl comes with homemade pickled cabbage, yakiniku sauce, onsen egg, sesame seed, spring onion and chunky slices of pork belly laid on top. The pork belly was thick and slightly charred to a nice burnt flavour. It was tender and juicy but I couldn’t taste the miso. Dipping it with the yakinuku sauce helps with the flavouring 》$17.90

Chilli Crab Pasta Spaghetti cooked with homemade chilli crab sauce and curry leaves, presented with a crunchy soft shell crab on top. The pasta was al-dente with a chewy bite. The sauce was done with the right amount of sweetness and a tinge of spiciness 》$18.90

Lala (Clams) Bee Hoon Stir-fry lala bee hoon with an abundance of clams, white pepper and coriander. This was supposedly one of their popular items on the menu. The bee hoon soaks up the flavours of clam with peppery spice lingering between the gravy and bee hoon. Although the gravy is taste on its own, the taste of pepper overpowers the other flavours in this dish and the natural sweetness of clam was somehow missing somewhere 》$18

Thai tang hoon Yummy and delicious pork tang hoon for $5.50. chewy and flavourful. Quite alot of pork in a pack. Love it. Delivery is super fast

Best Lala Bee Hoon My 2nd visit here. Their lala bee hoon is MUST ORDER. Find the tomyam soup abit too salty for my liking. The kang kong was not bad but had better ones elsewhere. Will def be back for lala bee hoon!
