Throwback post - Finally get to trying this stall who sell halal braised duck. Tried the soup version today as I want something warm due to the rainy weather.
Yellow noodles with no alkaline taste in the delicate herbaceous broth combined with well seasoned and tender drumstick meat plus my personal customary add-on braised egg result in a very satisfied meal. Will certainly be back to try the dry version / other combination π€©π€©π€©
fyi: For chili lovers, it does have a fiery kick to it.

Throwback post - Went Hougang mall to try the food in the food court but alot of stalls closing liao thanks to my friend's late timing π π π
Fish Soup Beehoon not bad, soup very flavorful, fish also fresh. Aiyah, they ran out of bitter gourd. should have asked for more fried egg as substitute instead.

Throwback post - Clear soup was on the lighter side, decent amount of sliced fish was quite fresh. I personally will prefer to dip into fish sauce with chili to further enhance the taste.

Throwback post - Take another shot to show the portion of egg in the congee.
Uncle too generous liao π π π . I cannot finish salted egg white since there is not much congee left.

Throwback post - Craving for porridge and that bring me to this stall. Not sure if it has changed hands but kinda remember it having a different signboard and was helmed by an aunt.
Nevertheless, I ordered Duo Egg Congee. Subtle flavor, not to the extent of being bland. Like the chunky you tiao being added as well along with the shallots and spring onion further elevate it.
Unassuming yet enjoyed every mouthful of it πππ

Throwback post - Prawn & Fish Congee had became our staple to order since we enjoyed it previously. 2 bowls for 3 of us just nice.
Wanted to try something new and ordered taro dumpling but will give it a miss next time as it is so hard... use it to throw at people will give black eye sia π π π Somemore, the used fryer oil (θζ²Ήε³) aftertaste is so strong after first mouthful.
Tried the carrot cake as well which I tot is pan-fried. I think It is deep-fried instead...
Will stick to steamed items for future visits

Throwback post - Thick and flavorful, amazing consistency πππ
Not sure if it is only for delivery or this has become a staple, it comes with a small packet of fried youtiao which feel more like biscuits than the usual doughy and fluffy version.
Having mixed it with the congee, the slightly softened crisp youtiao provide different texture. However, I cannot help but notice the used fryer oil (θζ²Ήε³) aftertaste. Better off not adding it π π π
