Did you know that Timbre @ Gillman Barracks opens on Sundays now too? In lieu of the extension of operating hours, they have rolled out a new Burgers & Beers Sunday menu. Available from noon till 9pm, look forward to chomping on eight original in-house burgers like the oh-so-cheesy Jucy Lucy burger ($20) with a thick patty with a gooey cheese centre. All burgers come with free flow fries and a recommended craft beer or cider that pairs perfectly with each burger’s flavour profile. Now you know where to go to prolong your weekend!

The corpulent corpse of the kraken sang to me like sirens to an ancient mariner, beckoning me to plunder the ebony treasure within. Alas, false hope - underseasoned Mexican squid ink rice and a watery chipotle aioli brulee only served to condemn this cephalopod that could not make the cut, to the status of merely treading culinary water.

Either do come early or reserve a table before you patronize the eatery, they are packed by the time we arrived approx.7pm! I finally figured out why this eatery is much raved! The Tomyum seafood pasta is soooo good with kick of spice! Seafood was fresh too especially the prawns that were crunchy at bite. Spaghetti were al dente! Also, they are Chef Recommended on the menu.
