(Sorry for the bad pic 😅)
1. Tom Yum (milk) - $8
Right level of spiciness and sweetness and you can really taste the seafood. Ingredients are fresh and generous! Super good for the current cold weather in Singapore, best dish out of all of them. I’d recommend the clear soup if you want something cleaner and more refreshing.
2. Kai Lan - $5
Unexpectedly, the spiciest dish. Never had spice in past experiences with this dish, so I was not used to it. Was overwhelming when combined with the other spicy dishes, so maybe next time order without chili?
3. Basil pork - $5
Tender and had pieces of fat which made it even tastier. Good level of spiciness.
4. Kway teow - $4.50
Has the burnt “wok hey” flavor, but lacking in flavor. Vegetables are too little in proportion to the noodles and it is very oily.
Generally, the portions are bigger than average and the prices are cheap (what we ordered feeds around 4-5 people). The service was prompt but it may also be due to the lack of crowd when we ordered (wed 730pm). Overall, highly recommended! Like all Thai food, the flavors can get slightly intense for those who are not accustomed to the cuisine.
