The food is just very disappointing. Don't bother wasting your calories and money at this place. If you must go, DO NOT ORDER BASIL FRIED RICE. There was no indication that it will be spicy. When the plate of fried rice arrived, it's so scary. Red chilli padi fill the plate of fried rice. The rest of the dishes were just substandard but at least edible. I will not be back for sure.
Love the way the cafe was done up. Nice white concept with a hint of black. Very sleek. The deserts were definitely not on the cheap side but tasted good. Came here on a Sunday afternoon, noticed that crowd starts to strolled in after 4pm. Do come early if you want a table!
Ordered Thai Iced Milk Tea and was so disappointed. This was way too sweet and can't even enjoy the milk tea flavored. The Thai ice milk tea at telok ayer was way better. Never ordering this again.
We came here for lunch after seeing pictures on burpple. We were initially disappointed to know that items were on dinner menu. However, staff was kind to let us ordered it for lunch! Portion were slightly more than average and decent prices. Will come back again for drinks!
Waited about 40 minutes to get a table. The wait list portion is quite messy, best to check in with the staff once you hit the 30 minute mark. I find that it's faster to get a table if you have >2 people. The oodeng soup was mind blowing in portion. It tasted nice but not as awesome as those in Korea. The amount of oodeng was mind blowing. Kimchi stew was nice. Pork belly was so so. I saw the table next to us ordered ribs or galbi and it smells awesome.
The Sunday champagne brunch buffet at Pan Pacific is awesome. The seafood were so fresh. The prawns and lobster were so sweet. Service was ok. There a strong difference between service receive by a Caucasian family and me ( Asian). Did not want to stereotype but no one bother to check on us and we need to ask to be serve. Other than that, staffs were responsive when we called. Worth a try for $210 per pax.
Went this place twice and food quality remained the same.Queue/food serving time might be an issue so try to reach early and order fast. Staff are quite attentive but not all are friendly and proactive. The 1st time when I ordered: Staff was proactive to tell us that we can top to get the rice ball dish. However, at my 2nd visit (I had yet to arrive when my friends ordered), I was disappointed to know that staff did not even inform my friends on the upgrade option. Sigh..cos the rice ball dish tasted awesome! I don't find the potato or tomato cheese pancake any fantastic but it's not bad. Love the steam egg, stew and rice ball!
I am disappointed as there's so much hype of this place. The green tea bingsoo was more bearable when you get to the bottom as you can taste the milk. The mango bingsoo was just a bowl of syrup. The ice texture on both bingsoo were not good. Please go and spend money on 313 bingsoo instead. Also, white tiles/wall/uniform/light, can I assume that they are going for a clean concept? Sorry guys, floor is dirty.
Lets just say I am not impressed at all in terms of food quality. We ordered double cheese burger, fish and chips burger, slow braised pork belly, fries and churros. 1)Beef patty in cheese burger were overcooked. Tasted like rubber 2) DO NOT ORDER THE FISH N CHIPS BURGER. Omg the flour coating tasted so bad 😱😱😭😭. 3) Slow braised pork belly and fries kinda save the night as they taste pretty good. 4)Churros tasted meh. In short, the hype got my expectations up high and I am disappointed.
I like the fact that they used charcoal for the BBQ portion and that you do not need to queue for a long time during dinner service. We ordered beef and pork. The marinated meat were very tasty. Staff needs to be slightly more responsive as we were not served with side dishes or water even after we place our order. Price wise since it's ala carte ordering, don't expect buffet price.
Came here during lunch and ordered the unagi set. We sat at the counter seat and as expected we smelt like the place after we left. Food wise: I was slight disappointed as there were a lot of hype about this place and staffs seems to be Japanese (i.e. Raised my expectation further). However, when set was served, the rice was lukewarm and Unagi tasted normal. The chicken drumlets side dish was not bad. However, I probably will not come back again.
Staff here are extremely friendly and well mannered. I love their sides available for selection! Remember to try out their bacon bits!
