DIY pasta ($12.90) - got the paprika pasta with grated Parmesan, cherry tomatoes, sous vide egg in Alfredo sauce.

V unique pasta place!! Rlly not your usual kind of go to pasta joints. The pasta itself is handmade at the store so that must be why. Cherry tomatoes also had a nice sun dried taste!

ā€œHackā€ : if it’s your first time visiting the store, sign up as a member of their chain brand, Black Hole Group at ( https://advo.io/u6zEFr ) and get $5 off your first meal! Membership is completely free šŸ˜‰ also, you should prob make reservations if visiting as we had to wait 30mins for a table of 2 when we reached around 2.15pm +

Not the best carbonara esp for the price. It was a little dry but the mushrooms were juicy and good šŸ‘

Oh apparently they have 1-1 pastas (not sure when tho, check their ig out to find out I Guess). Wouldn’t mind coming back to try the other pastas if it was 1-1 😁

Can I start by saying that this place is really kinda overpriced?? $13.50 for a slice of salmon toast which isn’t even filling? Not good for my tummy and wallet haha. Got the iced white too ($5.50) and yes coffee here is really good.

Would come back here just to do work and drink their coffee but the cafe gets really crowded so this might not be a viable idea 🤧

Ordered the poached eggs with avocado ($15) and grilled cheese toast ($11).

The toast on itself was pretty meh, kind of something you can recreate at home. It was the tomato soup that really helped to elevate the dish.

Poached eggs & avocado was also alright. Not the best but it passes.

(Would wanna come back here and try the earl grey pancakes)

DIY my brunch plate ($16) and have to say it’s really so worth your money!!! The cherry tomato was really the best & the hollandaise sauce on top of the eggs really brought the eggs a notch higher.

Think this is the most worth it brunch spot I’ve found so far bc their servings are huge and food is good!!! Oh and vibes & ambiance of the cafe is also really nice :)

Ordered the ā€˜Frutti Di Mare’ & ā€˜Burrata & Prosciutto’ ($62). Loved the former aka the seafood based one. The parma ham one was a bit too salty? But also ordered a side of truffle fries ($10) and they were really generous with the truffle.

Also paid using a standard chartered credit card and got $10 off the bill 🤩 aka free fries! (Love this place bc prices here are nett hehe)

Ordered the miso mushroom noodles ($7-8, can’t remember the exact price) & added the ramen egg (+$1.50). And then added the original 5 dumplings ($7) because you can’t come here and not have their dumplings.

Second time here and it hasn’t disappoint. Love the vibes here and really one of the most worth it places around Tanjong Pagar! (If you’re going down there, remember to make reservations or you can be prepared to wait)

Second time here back for their sashimi! It’s $3 for 5 pieces every Monday and Thursdays! We got 30 pieces of sashimi and added a plate of garlic fried rice ($7) to go with it.

Ordered the brunch plate ($16) and the pan seared Atlantic halibut ($18).

Scrambled eggs & sausage was good but the salad side was a bit weird?

Halibut was soft & too much oil :/ but potato was nice + tomatoes not bad = overall very average

Not the best brunch place but still worth a visit if at Bishan park! (Good ambiance)

Used Burpple beyond to get the 1-1 Ice cream bar. ($9.50 for one cup) Chose the 88% very dark chocolate in one cup and the chocolate affogato in another. Really loved it (esp since I’m a chocolate fan) and loved the chocolate soil at the bottom! Would have been better if we could have sat there to eat instead of getting it takeaway but the cafe was completely full :(
