At $7.50 this is really a good deal. The amount of cheese is phenomenal yet does not make one feel "gelat". I added some pepper and it tasted even better.
The sauce is delicious ! The few slices of chilli adds a kick to the rice which is mixed with shredded seaweed, green onions and some fine shreds of batter. The let down is that some of the sliced scallops are overcooked and a bit chewy at the bottom.
60% now so for $6.80 definitely worth it.
Chinese lunch included cereal prawns, roasted chicken, steamed fish, salted egg soft shell crab, tofu (infused with vegetable) & yam. Very yummy. Flavourful and not too salty. The bitter gourd soup (broth) with pork ribs and soy beans which is not in pic wasn't bitter and was tasty!
The carrot cake was quite light and the cream cheese topping was nice. Felt like comfort food ! (Cake I comes in a rectangle - I ate the corner and had to take another photo when the 1st photo failed) Cold Citron Tea was refreshing and sweet.
Ambience is cosy. Air con is strong and can be quite cold though.
Slice of Mont Blanc is quite light. Sweetness just nice. The bits of wafer gives a nice texture to the eating experience. The Healing Garden (ginger, lemongrass, lemon peel, liquorice root & spearmint) tasted quite mild.
Brandy Fruit Cake
Very flavourful! Rich brandy taste and the fruits are still soft and chewy. Also bought the salted brownie which was equally delicious. The coarse salt on top also adds crunch to the bite. Prices are very reasonable.
A small shop with 2 tables if you want to eat there. Found along Sunset Way.
Ambience is cozy. Had gula melaka pandan cake. Cake is dense. Quite crunchy with the coconut and overall not too sweet.
Praline Delight is quite creamy & flavourful. The cinnamon latte is sweet and easy to drink - tops for aroma and body.
Nice, artistic decor. Had butterscotch apple and mixed berries crumble. The 5mm thick apple slices added texture.
